Eagles showing why They paid Dak all this money, of course it's still "his team", anyone that says otherwise is delusional. Rush performed well (outside of the last two weeks), so they didn't need to rush Dak back. They still don't (and shouldn't), until after the Bye Week. Cooper answered the call, and went out and played to the best of his ability. At the end of the day, he's an undrafted rookie (who has been in the NFL for a few years) from a mid major conference [CMU]. The defense was probably, mostly responsible for his success, but he did contribute. Detroit and Chicago are still winnable games, if they can get to the bye with only two losses; when the season looked DOA, they may be able to cobble something together to play postseason games. Whatever the result; Tweedledee and Tweedledum need to be fired. (That's McCarthy and Moore, btw.)

Sucks that someone’s own surname is too offensive for the internet. I can’t believe the league would actually put such a heinous word on his uniform. All time great Eric Dickerson should change his too. Along with at least 8 MLB players just off top oh my head. edit: Dickerson is fine but the other isn’t? 1 Quote "The views expressed here are mine and do not reflect the official opinion of my employer or the organization through which the Internet was accessed." As a Pats fan and a diehard Mac apologist, Belichick should strongly consider rolling with Zappe if Mac continues to be mediocre upon his return. The offense has rolled a lot smoother since Zappe entered the picture. I'm sure it's mostly a matter of better playcalling but you can't deny how good Zappe has looked so far. He's very similar to Mac but with better decision making. Quote Perrin Grubb | Aspiring Designer | NAFA Project ~ NFL Redesigns

FiddySicks
What is happening with Philly sports? Not that the Eagles and Phillies are playing really well right now, but, that I’m… Happy, for them? What is happening to me?! GDAWG
This has been an unpredictable season so far. Who would have thought the Eagles would be the best team in the NFC. Not NFC East but NFC.

He has starter potential sure, but unless Mac comes back and plays like complete :censored: (like Carson Wentz :censored:) Zappe isn't starting over him. They have way too much invested in him. As far as the Eagles, IDK how to feel about them. They're good but their schedule is also piss easy.
Rockstar Matt
Surprised the Cowboys made a game out of it considering how awful Rush played. Hopefully tonight ends those absurd Rush > Dak takes we’ve been forced to listen to. Cowboys win that game easily with a healthy Dak tonight. This should have been a blowout with how bad Rush played. Got to look at the bright side, if you had told me when Dak went down that the Cowboys would have gone 4-1 with Cooper Rush at QB, I’d have taken that in a heartbeat. He’s done a good job at game managing but tonight showed his limitations. NFC is wide open. There really isn’t a great team in the conference this year. No clear front runner. Just a bunch of good teams and some awful teams at the bottom. Should make for a fun postseason. This is a year I could see a wild-card team making it to the Super Bowl. But honestly, this really is the Bills year to lose. They are clearly the best team in the league and it’s not close. If there was ever a time they were going to win a Super Bowl, it has to be this year. 1 Quote Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Dolphins Clever Stadium Design Has Created A 30° Temperature Difference Between Home & Away Sidelines I noticed this about two years after the renovations were done. I don't know if opposing teams are allowed to bring some form of shade via canopies (I guess not though since I haven't seen any), but the large temperature gap between the sidelines did raise an eyebrow. It's in a way similar to Seattle's metallic overhang reflecting the sound from the crowd right back onto the field, creating that unbearably loud echo. I don't know if it was intentional on their behalf, as I thought it was meant to keep the fans dry from the common rain in the region. It's worth noting that Miami's home record since then is 32-20, in contrast to their poor away record of 18-33.

Dolphins Clever Stadium Design Has Created A 30° Temperature Difference Between Home & Away Sidelines Isn't the home team typically situated where they are facing away from the sun? Maybe it wasn't the intent since this was a renovated stadium, but it is clever. I often wonder why more NFL stadiums don't have the same kind of canopy as Miami. Perhaps the visiting team might want to add some sheltered benches Quote I saw, I came, I left.

Ridleylash
Yeah, plenty of NFL teams have tried to cheat or gain advantages in ways like that. The Falcons did it in the early 2010's by playing a low humming sound (and like the Dolphins, were stupid enough to get caught), the Patriots literally called for a snowplow mid-game just to kick a field goal, George Halas was infamous for doing whatever he could with Wrigley Field to give his team an edge in games, multiple stadiums have been thought to purposefully give advantages to the home team...
