As a football fan, how can you objectively not :censored:ing HATE the Falcons? What a useless franchise, my god.

Like, if you’re gonna suck and lose all the time, just suck and lose all the time. This kinda play week in and week out is absolutely ridiculous.

They're like the NFL's version of Nebraska, except without any history of winning to feel warm and fuzzy about.

I can't emphasize how much I do not do this normally, but the Broncos should fire Hackett. The Broncos screwed around trying to decide what to do on 4th down, finally went with a field goal but wasted so much much time they got a delay instead. Then they punted.

Then they stopped Houston to set up a punt return. Only problem? Denver didn't send out a punt returner and had to burn a timeout.

As I was typing this, Denver used their last timeout to avoid another delay. This is a very dumb team destined for fourth place in what is otherwise a very good division.

The Trey Lance pick reminds me so much of the Alex Smith pick. Niners had the first crack at QB choices, and ended up getting probably the worst one available. What a miserable franchise.

I fully expected Miami to get blown out in that game because of their poor track record against the Ravens. Even with Lamar being the freak of nature he was, 6 TDs by Tua? WTF?

I would be pretty elated if the Dolphins beat NE, BAL, and PIT in the same season.

They just have enough good talent to never get over the hump. Shanahan doesn't have that killer instinct to put the foot on the throat of the other team. He doesn't want to hurt the feelings of the opposition.

I'm confused as to why Cincinnati didn't use a timeout on the GW FG, did they just resign themselves to their fate or something?

I'll take the win, as a fan. But, to me, that was a head scratching decision. Considering how coaches love to attempt to freeze the kicker; if they have the opportunity.

That's a guy in over his head. I don't know how he can expect players to listen to him. That's really bad.

He was content to settle for a 64 yard field goal in Seattle, but today elects to punt instead try a 58 yard FG (at mile high altitude) after that delay of game ?? 🥴

It's very clear that Hackett is in over his head. Kaaron Rodgers essentially got him a job he is no where qualified for. It's unfortunate because the Broncos are in "win now" mode, but Hackett is already costing them games. They cannot possible succeed with him on the sidelines.

Sure seems like it.  Aren't there supposed to be "quality control" coaches or coaches with some other title that are always in his ear about "heyyyyy... may have a decision to make in a sec" or "heyyyyyyy... remember, we only have x time outs, gonna need to make the decision quick" or at least guys on the sideline collecting and queuing players for pretty much any potential decision (example, making sure there's at least someone who can run out and field a punt, or making sure the FG team is ready to run out there even if the coach is taking his sweet time making the decision)?

He either doesn't have good coaches around him (his fault), has good coaches but doesn't pay attention to them (also his fault), hired coaches but didn't prepare them well enough to do their jobs (also his fault), or he's just too slow upstairs to  make good decisions (not technically his fault, but not anything that anyone can help him with.)

Either way, this guy really does seem like he's just not ready.

Turns out the Seahawks really aren't good. What a stinker today.

Sneaking past Denver and their incompetent coaching and ball handling had you thinking Geno Smith and the 'Hacks were for real? 😬
