The first half hour or 45 minutes of that movie is hilarious, when it’s just Jack Black tooling around on a rickety bicycle doing stupid stuff using an inappropriate accent. Then they decide that all movies need a plot and there’s some sort of wrestling angle and it bogs down to a crawl. For anyone who hasn’t seen it, just watch until the wrestling starts then turn it off. I actually liked the WLAF jerseys for what they were, which was a away to get soccer fans pulled into American football games overseas. I have a Frankfurt Galaxy jersey from that 1995 season, and a Rhein Fire jersey from later on in their existence.
