I want the Bucs to trade up to get Anthony Richardson (just so that their QB room would be 2019 UF's QB room all over again.)

For what it's worth, Richardson wasn't on the 2019 team. It was Franks, Trask, and Emory Jones. 2020 was Trask, Emory Jones, and Richardson.  Plus walkons, anyway.

I'm hoping Trask gets a shot, personally.  People forget how great he was at Florida in 2020 (against an all-SEC schedule) because he had the misfortune of having one of the worst defenses in the country and a head coach who effectively checked out for the bowl game and wrs that actually checked out.

I'll also just add my thoughts on Richardson. I wouldn't touch him as high as he likely goes.  I give him a pass in some regards because I think he played hurt last year at times and couldn't/wouldn't run but he gets too far into his own head when things don't go well.  Can make some insane throws and then miss the easy ones. Freak athlete but not as effective of a runner as he probably should have been -- don't know if it's his vision or what.

I also don't know that his 2022 season is an accurate reflection of his skill or potential. It felt like he decided he was entering the draft after the hype he got after the opening game and then just coasted knowing his measurables would make him an early first rounder.

Still no decision on Rodgers since but he wants the Jets to get Randall Cobb,Allen Lazard, Marcedes Lewis and even OBJ.

Let me see if I got this right...

So this greasy jackass comes crawling out of a cave, still wearing the diaper to catch his olive oil enema, and starts making demands of a team he doesn't even play for yet, and hasn't even confirmed that he will.

And the Jets... get this... start to give in to his demands before he's even agreed to play for them!

This disaster is going to be glorious!!

While we no longer have to play the "Will he or won't he?" with Tom Brady (I am not 100% certain he's done for good, I am more 60% he's done, but it won't be 100% until Week 18 of the 2023 season comes and goes and he's not on any NFL roster), we are going to have to do this all over again with Rodgers next year.

Washington continuing the tradition of signing mehbodies*

*- they aren’t “nobodies”, but they’re all certainly middle of the pack players.

I'd say it's at least a better strategy than assembling the All-Star Team of 5 seasons prior.

Been a few days and I am like wow, this is what Packers fans had to put up with for years lol

This is either gonna end gloriously (like Brady in 2020) or really bad (he retires/looks like Russell Wilson in Denver)

With all the annual Aaron Rodgers drama, you'd almost think he had made it to more than one Super Bowl (over a decade ago.)  I guess in that way, he's just like Brett Favre... especially if he goes to the Jets.  You almost can't make it up.  Two QBs that played in GB forever, won exactly one super bowl title each despite being talked about like gods, then moved on to the Jets.  The only differences between the two is that Brett Favre never endorsed witchcraft or locked himself in a dark room for a week, and Rodgers never sent anyone unsolicited dick pics or stole from the poorest people in the poorest state.

I have nothing against the Jets, but I hope this turns into a complete dumpster fire.  It's also silly that while Joe Namath offered him #12, it'll be #12 in the AFL uniform they're wearing now, not the classy set they moved away from a few years ago.

So the Rams backup QBs will probably by John Wolford and Bryce Perkins, both of whom suck.

If you're Mayfield, why would you go to the Rams and be the backup instead of Tampa where you're probably the starter.

There are rumors about Stafford's future in LA, from possibly retiring to possibly being traded.

yeah, frankly, I think I'm just gonna become a full-on Giants fan. I don't want to root for this waste of oxygen.

I kind of find this to be a nutzo take. Aaron Rodgers is for sure an annoying handful, and I can totally understand not liking him. But to stop rooting for a team because of him? Seems masochistic to crazy levels. This is still a four time MVP who’s got a better resume than any jets QB ever and is jointing a team that’s on the verge of being legitimately competitive. I don’t get it.

I saw some of this with Bucs fans when Brady signed. Seems really silly. I HATED Brady to the point where I stopped watching football for a stretch because of him. But when he came to my sorry ass team? I gritted my teeth, watched him lead them to a Super Bowl win, and gained a new found appreciation for him. Granted, the attitudes are different (and I get Rodgers comes with more baggage. Sort of), but this is still an all time great. Why check out now? You’re really gonna suffer through that much dysfunctional Jets football and miss out on the potential reward? Like I said, silly.

+1.  Agreed with this.  Brady on the Pats was frustrating to watch because it felt like he couldn't lose.  Then he comes to Tampa Bay and I saw a different side of him.  Those Tommy and Gronky skits they shot on the practice field were hilarious.
