The_Admiral
Hitting for the cycle is an interesting tidbit, Mario Lemieux scoring even-strength, power-play, shorthanded, empty-net, and penalty shot in one game was a truly remarkable achievement. 3 Quote ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫
Germanshepherd
De La Cruz also stole a base, making his cycle a Motorcycle (stole the term from Twitter) I’ve also thought of tracking a touchdown cycle in football where a player gets a passing, rushing, receiving and return touchdown in the same game, but idk if it’s ever happened. Brian Dawkins had a “quadrafecta” against Houston in 02. (forgive formatting, copy/pasting on mobile). This is statistically less common than a cycle. Also just a flukey and, despite being statistically arousing, just as meaningless. He had a good game. That’s all. Dynasty
Every time the Angels do something amazing (like this or if Ohtani has a masterful game), it is always followed by "in loss to BLANK" or " despite losing BLANK." Winning record be damned, they still waste performances like no other.

Sport
This Reds team is unbelievably fun. Diaz blows his first save of the season in the 9th, San Diego scores two in the top of the 10th, down to their last out, rookie Matt McLain ties the game with a two run homer. Padres score again in the top of the 11th. Elly De La Cruz ties it with a double and then steals third. On an infield single he tries to go home and would've been safe, but his hand never touches the plate and review holds up that he was out (correct call). Next batter is Spencer Steer, who's quietly having a really good rookie year, blasts a home run deep into left field and the Reds win. They're making magical moments seemingly every night.
FiddySicks
Speaking of rookies making big impressions, it looks like the Giants may have found their catcher of the future in Patrick Bailey. I was so annoyed when they picked him while already having Joey Bart on the roster, too. 1 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) He’s exciting to watch and probably would be rookie of the year this year if it wasn’t for the fact that Corbin Carroll is having a dominant year himself in Arizona. Plus the fact you have McClain and Abbott on the Reds I don’t even know if he’s the best rookie there. Definitely going to be a dominant team in the NL Central for the next few seasons. I wouldn't say "single handedly". He's a superstar for sure, but there's four other stud rookies, as well as a few other young, promising guys on the team who were fun to watch even before EDLC got called up. This is without two of their most potential-out-the-ass starting pitchers currently on the IL and they also have Christian Encarnacion-Strand in AAA. What revived baseball in Southwest Ohio was the team stopped being a pile on the field and the games started mattering again. De La Cruz is just one piece of that. What's scary (for division rival fans such as myself) is that these guys are so young and controllable that the team has plenty of time before they have to start paying them, which delays any firesale for awhile. 1 Quote https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall
