The 4 choices:

Ravens/49ers:

Regular season rematch. 49ers seek revenge two fold. This year and Super Bowl 47.

Ravens/Lions:

Regular season rematch. Lions going to their first Super Bowl in franchise history is a heartwarming story after years of futility plus payback against the Ravens.

Chiefs/49ers:

Simple revenge for the 49ers for Super Bowl 54 loss.

Chiefs/Lions:

Regular season rematch that kicked off this season.

I don't want to hear about how the 49ers are white supremacists so give me any of the other three but preferably Chiefs-Lions.

I mean, that just sounds like a terminally-online complaint. Staying off of Reddit and the other cesspits should solve that issue.

Get involved in video game speedrunning scenes or other extra-niche communities if you need to detox from sports journalism.

Live singing in a movie musical might be the one decision worse than anything McDermott drew up today.

Shanahan wants a ring to erase 28-3 from his ledger.

I want the Lions to make it to the Super Bowl and win it so that we can have all of the champions of the Big 4 Major Sports leagues as first time champions in the last 6-8 months.

where is this anti-Ravens sentiment coming from? I'd take them in a heartbeat over KC, even against the Niners (who I also genuinely like). granted, the 2012 season (and by extension SB XLVII) is what made me a serious sports fan in the first place, so there might be a bit of nostalgia bias there.

Browns fan.

I hate to be the one to point out that the NFL had Champions prior to the Super Bowl, but the Lions were the NFL Champions for the 1935, 1952, 1953, and 1957 seasons.

Viking fans like to point out that there was a small four year window when a team could win the NFL championship while still losing the superbowl but, trust me, nobody wants to hear it.

He's just the best.  So hoping the retirement rumors are just rumors (but doubt it.)

It would be their first Super Bowl and that's all that counts right now for a lot of people, especially Lions fans who were born after the NFL-AFL Merger.  They are most likely aware of those championships, but most Lions fans were not alive in 1957.  They would still technically be a first time champion since all of their titles occurred pre-merger and many people consider the 1960's as "the modern NFL"

I’m almost positive at this point that the 49ers are going to crush the Lions like a bug, then lose the Super Bowl on some more bull:censored: to Kansas City. Then we get the gift of the media talking ad nauseam about how much “adversity” they overcame because they lost a game or two extra which made Mahomes really really mad, and they had the tough distraction of their tight end dating the most famous singer in the world (did we mention that to you, btw? Well just in case you missed it, here’s another 30 minute wankjob video about it).

Like I said. Wal Mart brand Patriots.

Speaking of the NFL Championship, the Vikings beat the Browns to win the last "NFL Championship" in 1969. It was little kid me's first taste of what was to come as a Browns fan. Someone smarter would have switched teams right then and there. I really liked the 49ers too back then because of their uniforms and I thought 49ers was a really cool name. And Gene Washington was my favorite player. How different my NFL fandom would have been if I'd bailed on the Browns and jumped to the 49ers.
