Look, I still don't understand that decision in any way, Niners were still a great team from 1994-1997 (they won it all in 94 and made the NFC Championship in 97), but if that's the choice that you made and you're happy with it, good for you. Well, part of where it got started has to do with a large part of my dad’s family being U of Tennessee alum. That was the first sports team I was ever introduced to, and even though I’m more tepid on it today, I’ll always have a love for the Vols. The Bucs looked a lot like them as a kid and I thought that was so cool. It’s just something that always stuck with me even though my reasoning was all backwards lol. I still do have the softest of soft spots for the Niners. My mom was a SF Giants and Niners fan her entire life, my dad used to have season tickets all the way back when they were in Kezar and took me to a TON of games (including the final game at Candlestick), and my wife and her entire family are huge Niners fans who also have season tickets. I didn't like any of the gradients we've seen so far, and Nike has enough trouble with colors already. I liked the uniforms though.
