Next NFL uniform change?

It's time for the Bills to change to something with a more classic look (maybe even just revive some retro uniforms like the Giants did). The Bengals may have taken the title of worst-dressed team, but they just changed so they can't change again so soon. The Bills have looked bad for enough years to warrant another overhaul. No fans will get pissed that they just bought a new jersey. They will probably thank the franchise for no longer looking like blue-shouldered douche-bags.

If the Cardinals come out with an awful update, it will relive some of the pressure. Still, I think the Bills have got to be next.

How about a look for the LA Saints.

LA, i hope you mean LA as in Lousiana saints. hoipefully the saints never move out of the best party town in the united states. and never change stadiums, that thing is awesome

Okay, I've never been there and I'm just baseing this on watching games on TV, so forgive me, but it looks like it'd be awesome if you're into tombs, caves, and other large dark quiet places. Even during Super Bowls the Superdome just looks depressing. Not sure why, but it does.

I've decided to give up hope for all sports teams I follow

The Cardinals are about to revamp their look. So what's the next NFL team that's going to redo it's uniform? Aren't teams like the Chiefs, Raiders, and Packers about due?

i agree totally.

the cheifs mainly needs to utilize the black more. maybe as a trim.

the rest are long over due for a change especially the packers. Brewers gold on the brewers alterate logo seen on this site is a good gold to go with the packers green.

change is good. change is good.

I agree with Wilson, the Vikings need to change something. There has not been a large amount of change over the years other than sleeve stripes, outlining the numbers, and adding the Viking head to the sleeves. However, I would not like to see a change to something that has been done with teams like Denver and Buffalo.

Maybe back to a classic 60's look for the Vikings? I would like to at least see the grey facemasks and black shoes. Any thoughts on this?

I think if the Chiefs added a little bit of black, that would really make their unis pop. Look what it did for the Detroit Lions. Other than KC, though, I can't think of anyone who needs a major overhaul.

Not all change is good. Some change is good, and some change is awful.

The Packers considered the change you mention a decade ago. They decided at the last minute not to do it, and that sealed it - the Packers will not make any significant changes to their uniforms.

I'm happy with where the Vikes are at. I am intrigued by the idea of them switching from yellow to gold, but I like the uniform overall.

Look what black did for the Lions? Did some one say that?

It made their uniforms look cluttered and awful.

The Packers, Raiders, off limits. There are teams that are just great. How could anyonw want to change the Raiders look? The Packers? Are you nuts?

Read some books, feel the history.

I'm sick of these "change for the sake of change" :censored:s. You're making my violent traditionalist come out again........

You know with Chris Farley in your sig & avatar--you had to use the word awesome... :D

Chris to Paul McCartney-"Remember when you were in the Beatles?...That was awesome!"

I'm happy with the Vikes too, but I'm just saying change is inevitable, with a new owner (soon hopefully) and trying to draw hopes of a new stadium, they nned to drive sales with something new. I DO NOT want an overhaul, just an update like the 49ers. I think the same can be said for the Chiefs, NO overhaul, just a slight update.

I dont agree on switching to Gold from Yellow. They must stay away from the Trendy color. same goes with the Chiefs.

rockchalk, I'm glad you made that comment. I'm from New Orleans and used to have season tickets to Saints games. When watching their home games on TV, I also thought it looked dark and depressing (I thought it might have something to do with the team I was watching). I didn't know if other people saw the same thing or my perception was tainted by outside factors (like the fact that they're the Saints). All the other NFL games, even those in other indoor stadiums, seem much brighter and livelier. On a side note, I wish the Saints would bring back the Louisiana logo with the fleur-de-lis showing where New Orleans is located, at least on the shoulder or pants stripe.

I think the two teams most in need of uniform changes are ones that made a huge mistake and it may be too soon to change them again (Bengals, Bills). I love that the Bills wear red helmets, which I think is vastly underused in the NFL (who would've thought that something as simple as a red helmet would be almost totally unique if not for one other team?) If the Bills would just simplify their current uniforms and drop the shoulder yoke and uneccasary extra blue coloring, they could have a very nice, classic update. I'm a huge fan of the bengal striped helmet and the old uniforms did a nice job of encorporating the striping without overdoing it. The current set is very "cartoonish."

I'm not sure of the technicalities of the NFL, but it just seems to me that both would be hesitant to make another change in such a short period of time. It would be like admitting you've made a HUGE mistake, and I'm sure most of those big wigs do not have that press conference on their off season schedule.
