WISDUCK
I hope the Oilers come back against the Minnows. The Ducks can beat both, but will have a better chance against the Oilers. Did you even watch one minute of the last Sharks Ducks game? San Jose made Anaheim look like a bunch of school girls. It wasn even a conest. If its SJ vs ANA, The Ducks are gonna have one helluva time getting past them. We shut you guys out 2-0 twice at the Tank this year. The Minnows only have 2 good lines, when Anaheim has 4. Besides, you guys basically got a free pass to round 2. We had to beat the best team in the West(Calgary) I doubt you P****s would have won a game against them. Probably would have been to scared to get hit! Oh, and a little stat. Anaheim: 1 Conference title. San Jose: 0.

Roger Clemente
I'd love to see 4 sweeps. It'd be something that's not seen often. Not to mention, the next round would start sooner and there will be a Cup Final game on my birthday.--Roger "Time?" Clemente. Since when? Detroit and Dallas were best in the west, Calgary was third, and overrated. And oh great, you guys got to lose in the Stanley Cup Finals a few years ago, awesome. Us p*ssies? WTF? Dude, seriously. I cant stand fans who are stupid like that. And BTW, I accually like Anaheim, nothing against them in the slightest. J.R.
What's the worst lead in hockey? 2-0.Edmonton played their hearts out last night and absolutely deserved the win with that dominating effort. San Jose could have virtually ended the series, but Raffi Torres sent it to overtime with 6:48 to go. Suspension? *L* Then Roloson and Toskala put on a goaltending clinic in OT, both standing on their heads. What a beauty of a finish allowing the Oilers right back in the series. Fred T. Jane
*PHEW* Ottawa's still alive. Now, where has the Ray Emery we saw tonight been the entire series... [Croatia National Team Manager Slavan] Bilic then went on to explain how Croatia's success can partially be put down to his progressive man-management techniques. "Sometimes I lie in the bed with my players. I go to the room of Vedran Corluka and Luka Modric when I see they have a problem and I lie in bed with them and we talk for 10 minutes." Maybe Capello could try getting through to his players this way too? Although how far he'd get with Joe Cole jumping up and down on the mattress and Rooney demanding to be read his favourite page from The Very Hungry Caterpillar is open to question. --The Guardian's Fiver, 08 September 2008 Attention: In order to obtain maximum enjoyment from your stay at the CCSLC, the reader is advised that the above post may contain large amounts of sarcasm, dry humour, or statements which should not be taken in any true sort of seriousness. winters in buffalo
As much as I'd have enjoyed a sweep, I'm glad it didn't end tonight. At the very least, the Sabres would have had 2 days more rest than the Canes, and possibly a week more. Rust sucks; I'll take the loss for the greater good.
