NJTank
After that Miami fight I have decided to switch allegences, I have sorta of always liked Notre Dame but I was talking to someone and they said Norte Dame has too many fans. I like Rutgers but they are regional and not a National Team, so I have decided to let people nominate my new NCAA Team. There are 5 teams I am eleminating I hate them and can never root for them. They are:1. USC-Hate the Band2. Cal-Berkley (Guess Why)3. Michigan-I hate them because of 1989 Final Four4. Nebraka-I hate that mascot 5. Ohio State-Fiesta Bowl cheating. Nominate any other team maybe ever try to talk me into saying with Miami Ill look them over and Ill make my announcement later. Ive heard stories of people doing this in other sports and Now Im doing it here I think it will be a fun game. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

FiddySicks
I have sorta of always liked Notre Dame but I was talking to someone and they said Norte Dame has too many fans.HEY!!! Someone finally listened to me!!! I say this, If your really serious about ditching Miami and rooting for another team, amke sure theres some serious connection to that team. Dont pick a team just because they win. Make sure theres a legit reason for liking them. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) NJTank
Well If I go Notre Dame it will becuase Im Irish Catholic, but what can I say. Rutgers is good for its level Im looking for a team thats a Top 25 team every year not one thats a flash in the pan, maybe its unfare to think that way but Rutgers is a nice story this year maybe you convince we to make them my new #1, but they just so small. www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

HowBoutThemFins
Jumping off the bandwagon, eh? Pff. Be gone! Hehe. Erm, how about...TCU? Go Horned Frogs! Atleast I think that's what they're called. How about Boise St.? Can't go wrong cheering for a team with a field which resembles a smurf.
budbowl77
I know Rutgers whooped up on them today, but the best team to root for is Navy. You wanna see no quit, play to the whistle football these boys will show you man. The future leaders of our country, doin' it on a smaller scale playing college football the way it was meant to be played.

See Red
I'm curious - how did OSU cheat in the Fiesta Bowl, exactly?Easy in the eyes of Hurricanes fans! They got a call that could've gone either way. I actually agree that there was a little too much contact on that play for my tastes. The only beef I have with the call is how late the flag was thrown.
otherwilds
I thought about suggesting that you become the NCAA FB anarchist and just hate everybody and every thing, or there is always Liberty University to feed your papanoia about the right. But this would be the perfect weekend to jump on the Vanderbilt band wagon. Great school in the best football conferance and one of the best in basketball as well. And due to the strict academic guidelines they will always have the underdog aura.
TBGKon
Three letters Tank, USF. Why you might ask:- Since you are switching allegiances from Miami, why not keep the team in Florida...lol.- USF Is on the up and up. We are currently in our 10th season in football, and last season we made it tour our first bowl game, although we are still looking for our first bowl win.- USF may not have the tradition of the older schools, but that's why we need fans from all over to spread BULL PRIDE and get the traditions started to make USF as recognizeable as any other BCS Conference team. Discrim
invest in some Badger red. officially I'm supposed to say we mainly hate Minnesota, but usually the Big Ten game you don't wanna miss other than Ohio State-Michigan is Wisconsin-Michigan. Admittedly, we're farther down Michigan's rival totem pole than they are on ours, there's no trophy, so officially it's treated as just another game. Doesn't stop it from bein one helluva rivalry though.oh yeah, and since Meesheegan doesn't have a mascot to laugh at, we'll just have to settle for Minnysoda's chipmunk...or is it a gerbil? cus it sure aint a gopher A strong mind gets high off success, a weak mind gets high off bull
jkrdevil
Alright there are certain rules for rooting for a college a team. It's not like pro sports where you can "pick a team out of a hat" and get away with it. 1. You root for them because you go or went to school there. 2. You root for them because you have a relative that goes or went there. 3. You root for them because grew up near the school. The school is considered the local college team to root for. That's pretty much it. Anything else you are a frontrunner, unless the team sucks in which case you are just a random "fan." So Tank from what I know (which is admittably little) it seems you are left with 2 schools. Either Rutgers or Penn State, which is kind of considered the local team to root for in College Football in NJ. BTW, Yes I did take these rules from the Sportsguy Bill Simmons. BTW, Yes I did take these rules from the Sportsguy Bill Simmons. And they're great rules. I root for Syracuse because I'm from upstate New York. I root for UW because I presently go to school there. I have a mild interest in U of L because I lived in Louisville for a couple of years and no one in that city ever shuts up about Cats vs. Cards. All of that is allowed, I believe.I always thought SU was the de facto school of choice for the NY Metro area, but that might only be for basketball. It seems kind of lame for Tank to root for Miami sports at all (ugh...what's the attraction?) but now is as good as time as any to switch over to Rutgets. Their football team is dominant this year and they're basketball program is on an upswing over the past couple years. Plus, you get the added bonus of rooting for a perennial underachiever. It can be frustrating, but the good season for a bad team or so much more rewarding than the good seasons for a great team.EDIT: I just reread Tank's initial comments. How lame. You want a national school that is always good? What is the point of that? Part of being a fan is that your team has ups and downs. Just choosing a good school out of a hat makes you a bad fan. 1 hour ago, ShutUpLutz! said: and the drunken doodoobags jumping off the tops of SUV's/vans/RV's onto tables because, oh yeah, they are drunken drug abusing doodoobags
