I've little use for people relaying the results of every game their favorite team plays.

I'm going to start posting the results of random little league scores from around the country.

Tonight The Lenscrafters Fighting Eyeballs beat The Hot Dog Heaven Bunwarmers 13-11 in 9-11 year old action in Warsaw Indiana.

At least that's not stuff that anybody who actually cares about can find on, at least, 15 different websites.

Good for Lenscrafters, by the way, glad to see their bullpen didn't blow another one like on Thursday night.

The Eyeballs pitched pretty well tonight. The starter gave up just 6 hits in four and a third innings. It was the eleven errors that hurt.

Yankees win again!!!!

And this is why they hate us.

So I should be sad that the Yankees win?

Yes, that's exactly what everyone here is saying. You can't seriously be this dumb, can you? There are a few members on here who legitimately are that dumb, but I always considered you more of an annoyance rather than an inbecile.

Well, I'm sure once they lose, we'll get the whole "Well, I don't really care about baseball" line....

The Eyeballs have a good staff. I mean, they held the top half of the Bunwarmers lineup to only 6 runs. That's a feat considering that the Bunwarmers have studs like Marshall Sterling, Sterling Marshall, Cooper Thomas, Trevor Cooper, and Rick Smits Jr.

There is absolutely no point in regaling us with every little detail about your favorite team until at least July.

Being a Yankees fan is like going to a casino and cheering for the house.

Speaking of which, have the Cubs been eliminated from contention yet? I want to know if it's too early to switch full allegiances over to the Mariners this season.

Alright I won't post about the Yankee results, seeing that it bothers yall.

It wouldn't bother me so much if you actually posted results. "Yankees win again!!!!" isn't a result. They're going to win 90-100+ games every year. Posting "yankees win again!!!!" is like saying, "it's cloudy again!!!!".

For someone who has witnessed 27 championships you sure do get excited about wins in April.

It doesn't bother anyone any more than if I was to come on here and say "Phillies win!" or "Utley double to right - Polanco moves up to third" every few minutes. A team winning or losing isn't news... unless it's news. The Yankees winning a game in early April ain't news. You're just annoying, to the point where I'm convinced it's on purpose. Nobody hates you because they're jealous that the team that you cheer for is more successful than the team that they cheer for. People hate you because you're annoying.

And Aubrey Huff just hit his first home run of the season vs Pittsburgh. It was an inside the park home run. Gotta love playing the Pirates.

EDIT: And just a few batters later, Eli Whiteside gets his first homer of the year. This one was over the wall though.

Lol... thanks for the play-by-play Bucfan.

As for some news... Jimmy Rollins placed on 15-day DL. Likely to miss 4 weeks. Sucks because he was off to a good start, which isn't always a given with him, but this will get Victorino some time in the leadoff spot which will be good for him, and they'll get to seriously evaluate their infield depth. For now, Juan Castro takes over. If he ends up sucking, it wouldn't shock me to see them make a trade for another utility guy, as they'd like to give both Rollins and Utley some more time off this year, and there's nothing good in their system in the middle infield right now.

Also looking like Brad Lidge might be done. That's just the word on the street, but all signs are pointing to him not coming back for a while, if at all this year. They claim to be happy with their bullpen situation sans Lidge, but I can't believe that's the case. As the season progresses, I would expect a deal for either a solid middle reliever (if Madson and Baez are doing OK at the end) or a closer on the tail end of his contract (if there is one available.)
