And I'm not saying that because there was anything particularly wrong with the teal and purple set, I actually really liked that look. But their new gear is flat out awesome. That being said, it is a shame that they ditched a perfectly fine set that's associated with a World Series victory. oddball Posted September 10, 2011 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Actually, the D-back current set is one of the worst. Not only did they go away from unique colors, but the set is over-designed. While the previous set had the Arizona with the fangs subtly on both the first and second A and the diamond back pattern on the A with the forked tongue was nice. I wasn't a fan of the D-snake cap, but it was still good. The front wordmarks both just look forced and something you'd see from a beginning designer who found the font on dafonts.com.
