Adidas sucks at everything. Do you think their designers go to sleep at night with dreams of truncated stripes and no sleeves in their heads?

IIRC, UCLA's stripes will be fixed. They'll be longer this year.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

Yeah they were supposed to have changed the jersey cut. Unfortunately that only works with the shoulder stripes, not sleeve like The Ville has.

You know what they say, "Traditionalist's can go die in a hole if they don't like it."

hopefully the indiana jerseys are not an indicator since those look as bad as ucla's last year

So much for the stripes being fixed.

Just because they aren't fixed in that image doesn't mean they wont be fixed by the time the season starts. Just look at the Michigan uniform posted on the last page, the image that adidas released didn't have shoulder numbers but in that other image from a practice they do so its possible they could fix them.

It's funny to see all the unabashed Nike love here at the expense of adidas. If Nike didn't come out with some of the earlier monstrosities, like random piping, alternate color single sleeves, truncated striping, black for black's sake, etc., then others would not have followed the lead. Every since the day Phil Knight decided to play "mad scientist" with football uniforms, tradition was thrown out the window, and now these overly-decorated uniforms are part of the norm.

Just because you think outside the box doesn't mean you automatically come up with good ideas.

is there one for tennessee?

Same as last years:

The orange on Tennessee's helmets haven't matched the jersey color in a long, long time. Still doesn't.

LSU pulls the same thing with the purple on their helmet vs. what's on their jerseys. They just don't match.

Looking at it, nobody's helmet decals match their jersey colors. UNC isn't even close, Florida, Georgia, nobody. Ours stands out because it's a bright color. It's all about reflection of light, and it's impossible to match.

considering Georgia's helmet decal is black and white, it's hard to claim that

I misspoke, I meant helmet color, not just decal color. Obviously for the UNC example as well.

My point is that light and materials cause the elements of the helmet, jersey, numbers and pants to all differ slightly for most every team in college football, even though many of our fans seem to think it's isolated to us.

in all serious, definitely. getting colors on a solid surface, and jersey material to match is pretty hard. honestly, I've never noticed a difference with Georgia, UNC, etc. Sure, there might be a difference, but you have to look pretty darn hard. Tennessee's color difference is blatantly awful
