What do the Wings and Osama Bin Laden have in common? Theyre both getting ripped apart by sharks right now! One more than we can punk on Canada. Go Sharks.

Credit to Cojo for that one, BTW.

Wow... Washington and Ovie have an unbreakable reputation now. As much as i dislike Sidney the Pens, they made the finals twice and won a cup.

Got Damn, Caps...

Not only that but Ovie and Russia stunk it up in Vancouver last year so Mr. Ovechkin has the stain of big game choker deeply ingrained and it will not vanish until he wins a cup.

Devin Setoguchi scoring in OT was great, that penalty he took was a complete joke. It was nice to see the Red Wings not win after Bertuzzi essentially grabbed Setoguchi's hand and threw himself down on the ice.

Bruins and lightning in the conference finals would be an amazing series, though I would love to see the flyers come back (AGAIN) and try to avenge the 04' conference finals loss.

Sharks always choke.

I'm just curious about what you have to say now. No, they haven't won the series nor have they gotten further than they did last year. It just seems that you have been awfully quiet lately.

I'm not one prone to horn-tooting, but I have been killing it in McCarthy's overtime pool.

Toot away.

I've done it on twitter for 15 or 16 of the 20 overtimes we've had. There's been 5 correct predictions total, and 3 have been by sodboy up there.

play along if you want, http://twitter.com/#!/SeanofUnionBlue. Or just follow me. I'm a good twitter buddy and occasionally I'll make a good observation.

I'll give the Sharks credit, they have been absoultely nails in overtime -- and against the mighty Wings, no less. Good for them. However, San Jose's still got 9 WINS TO GO until they can actually prove me wrong. ;)

Wait...they have to win the Cup or it's a choke?! WHAT??? If that's the case, the Caps are some choking bast-oh.

Start out the playoffs 7-2 and (calling it right now) sweep the always mighty Red Wings -- up to this point, it'd be a major let-down (CHOKE!) if the Sharks didn't bring home the Cup.

Caps are becoming the Sharks of the East. Its pretty sad to watch in alot of ways.

Meanwhile the Sharks may finally break through the glass celling, but they still have another round to play and if Roberto Luongo is on, I don't see anyone getting past Vancouver, but we shall see. It's not like the Canucks/Preds series is over either though.
