shaydre1019 Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 So I've been driving past Lowes recently and I never noticed but the S seems so out of place with the rest of the word mark . The o in particular is boxy with rounded off edges while the s is really round and it bothers me now so much every time I see it. Has anyone else notices this?? It's like the designer tried as hard as possible to make that not look like the rest of the wordmark while still not making it too obvious. Looks a little better.My guess is the designer originally did something similar to that but then some decision-maker said the "S" looks too much like a "5" (even though it doesn't really) and there you go, new "S".
