Cujo
Wasn't Teemu going to retire following the Ducks' 2007 Cup win? Here it is five years later and he keeps coming back. Can you say "The Brett Favre of Hockey"?
The_Admiral
Teemu doesn't send cockshots to sluts. That we know of.The Ducks have a pretty good team right now. So does almost everyone else in the conference. If there's a season, it's probably going to suck. Half a league tied for seventh place. That's hockey for you. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

Can you say "The Brett Favre of Hockey"? He never said he was going to retire for good like Favre did, though. He's just been contemplating retirement for that long. nash61
I just heard on TSN that Howe, Delvecchio and Lindsay are going to be the coaches for the Wings, well Johnny Bower and 2 guys I missed out on hearing are coaching the Leafs.Sad to say, but with Gordie's current mental condition, the best place for him might be on the ice. Sport
Teemu isn't ready for a desk job quite yet... Selanne signs one-year/$4.5 million contract with AnaheimThat looks eerily similar to my office (sans hockey stick in the corner). Too bad I'm not good enough to throw my pen and go back to playing hockey. I can't even afford new skates right now. For me it's more like "forget this, I go back on CCSLC". Still MIGHTY
Wasn't Teemu going to retire following the Ducks' 2007 Cup win? Here it is five years later and he keeps coming back. Can you say "The Brett Favre of Hockey"? The only similarity is the yearly contemplation of whether they'll come back or not. Besides the first time when he didn't come back until February, Teemu has decided fairly early most times and hasn't been a dick to the organization and others like Favre. Another difference is that the Ducks keep leaving the door open for him to return and not basically force him to retire like the Packers initially did, so he also has no reason to be against the Ducks. Also Teemu is actually healthy and productive. He isn't clinging on to a final shot at glory. He's a productive player and still enjoying the game.Similar, but not even close to the same thing. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |

Don
Its an initial proposal, negotiating 101 says ask for everything then negotiate down, but do we really think that the owners are that smart?
