Just as long as we're sharing stories

2008-2009 I started getting into pro soccer more consciously. I remembered my dad getting me a Chelsea shirt at Epcot when I was younger, and I would wear it to soccer practice and stuff. So when I needed to choose an EPL team, I went for Chelsea. Bought a practice kit one day at a Disney soccer tournament run by Adidas to make it official.

Last year, we had to make a senior scrapbook for class, and I came across me wearing that shirt. Only problem is that it was an Arsenal shirt, lol. So I'm gonna stick with Chelsea. I also have a soft spot for Newcastle because of friends and hours of manager mode on FIFA 10

Seriously, how could you not tell the difference between a Chelsea shirt and an Arsenal shirt...even after having played FIFA 10 in the intervening period?

Good draw for PSG. Avoided Real Madrid which is all I really wanted out of it.

The six "biggest names" all play each other, though. Bayern / Arsenal, Milan / Barça, Real Madrid / United.

As far as winners go, give me... Galatasaray, Juventus, Bayern, Dortmund, Barça, Real Madrid, PSG, and Malaga. Gonna be some fresh faces in the quarterfinal this year, though.

For those who care, the Round of 16 matches for the Champions League is set:

-Galatasaray (Turkey) vs. Schalke 04 (Germany)

-Celtic (Scotland) vs. Juventus (Italy)

-Arsenal (England) vs. Bayern Munich (Germany)

-Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) vs. Borussia Dortmund (Germany)

-AC Milan (Italy) vs. FC Barcelona (Spain)

-Real Madrid (Spain) vs. Manchester United (England)

-Valencia CF (Spain) vs. Paris Saint-Germain (France)

-F.C. Porto (Portugal) vs. Malaga FC (Spain)

Of course, the best matchup is Real Madrid-Manchester United. Nothing quite like the two biggest names facing off.

Nah, this was like 2008 when I started back up. But the shirt was just a generic soccer shirt that I GUESS nike made. It basically was a soccer ball that said Arsenal under it.

Zenit St Petersburg v Liverpool

Zenit's racist supporters v Luis Suarez.

You can't make this :censored: up.

They're not racist, it's just tradition!

Liverpool really should consider dropping Suarez though, not just for this fixture, but for good. :P

/Happy with the UCL draw for PSG in that the draw wasn't Real Madrid. Should be some real crackers in the round of 16.

Well how about that. Arsenal back in the top 4. After their fans were screaming on how they're doomed. They still might be, but this is a good sign at least.

Just goes to show how mediocre at best the Premier League is this year.

United's defense does nothing but give up goals left and right and they'll be top by 6 again with a win tomorrow. Also think it's 8 clubs in the relegation battle at this point.

Who, West Ham? Or Man U?

Fulham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Villa, Southampton, Wigan, Queens Park Rangers, Reading.

Could maybe see West Ham or Swansea getting pulled in but not likely. Don't even think it'll take 40 to stay up this year. 35 might mean safety.

Hey the Magpies stayed with them for 3 goals, then Arsenal put their foot down on someone for the first time all year.
