Eagles no longer doing throwback at this time.

They didn't have a throwemback last year either.

Looking forward to seeing the green jerseys/green pants combo to FINALLY make its debut on the field (with the current uniform set). With the ultra progressive Chip Kelly now in charge, I think we see that. Thank goodness.

For all that is holy....I hope not

Gosh, I hope not.

Have you considered that perhaps this is the preference of the club and the image they'd like to portray of their team? There is not a "correct" or "incorrect" way to designate your primary uniforms.

No, unless they fall back on phony "scientific" arguments like dark jerseys make their opponents hotter in the sun and create a competitive advantage for the home team in white.

Just say you like white at home and leave it at that.

That actually isn't terrible. Not the ideal combo for the Eagles, but not a bad look either.

And the Redskins look far better in red pants than in gold.

I agree about the Redskins pants. The yellow pants were kinda neat as a change of pace, but should never replace the burgundy pants.

I have created rumors that the Vikings will get retro uniforms with a different shade of gold.

Fixed that for you.

The 49ers are rumored to be thinking about adopting a black alternate in celebration of the role the Superdome blackout played in their comeback.

Has anyone seen these Under Armour uniform concepts?

Most of these are awful, but the Bengals and Patriots uni concepts might be an improvement.

Why do the Panthers, Cowboys, Doplhins, Buccaneers, Redskins, Eagles, and Chargers wear white all the time? Do they hate the home uniforms?

Dolphins do it because of the heat. Thinks it gives them advantage

That is no excuse as the Miami Hurricanes play in the same stadium and wear dark jerseys for all home games.

Exactly. Maybe those 20 year old college kids don't sweat like 24 year old NFL players do. :sleepy:

Its a :censored:-a-mamee excuse that a few of these "warm weather" NFL clubs use, to trot out their white jerseys. With the way uniforms are made now and the material being used, "colors" don't make any difference.

The Dolphins wear white at home to force the opposing team to use their dark uniforms, and there IS an advantage. For example, this past year they forced the Raiders to wear their black uniforms in Week 2. Wearing black in that oppressive South Florida heat in September is no joke. I watched that game, and the Raiders were gassed by halftime. Ya, the Raiders sucked this year anyway, but the heat definitely played a role in their blowout loss to the Dolphins.

If they were "Under Armour" concepts, don't you think they'd be on... you know, like an "Under Armour" website?

Sorry to say rams80 I didn't creat the rumors the websites did

Well, that's what some blogs are reporting...

See: http://network.yardbarker.com/nfl/article_external/under_armours_concept_uniforms_for_the_texans/12886186

I just assumed it was a viral marketing campaign by Under Armour.
