Sport
The IOC has a lot of weird rules regarding logos. For instance, the official logo for an Olympics can't include any olympic imagery like rings or a torch (I believe they made an exception for Atlanta being the 100th anniversary) so that's why we always end up with some goofy looking abstract logo, or in the case of London the worst thing ever. FiddySicks
I hope they wear those the rest of the games. It looked so classy very 80 Miracle feel especially after beating Russia those are replicas of the jerseys, they wore in 1960. They dont really look anything like what they wore in 1980.Sunday19601980Wait, those are supposed to be a replica of the Squaw Valley Olympic jerseys? Yeah, I'm definitely gonna have to try and get one now. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) CreamSoda
Its frustrating to see that Nike can make a sweater look that good yet they choose to roll out their new look sweaters. The 2014 USA sweater isnt bad, but not nearly a classic like the 1960 version.
CreamSoda
This might not be the right thread, but I finally got my USA Hockey sweater from Vancouver customized by Exclusive Pro Sports this past week. I requested my state (Commonwealth, technically) and its order of admission to the Union for the name and number, a principle I picked up from people who get US Soccer kits customized.I'm very thrilled with how it turned out! This is not the 2010 Vancouver USA sweater...They had the U S A on that sweater and not the logo. I connect the 60 and 80 USA so much with the Rangers they must have blended together
SenatorJake
Really diggin' these jerseys since it sets the Slovenes apart from the multitude of red, white & blue teams in this tournament. The Seahwakesque colour scheme seems to have paid off as well, as Team Slovenija advances to the quarter-finals.
-kj
They'd be even better if that motif wrapped around to the back. Buy some t-shirts and stuff at KJ Shop! hjwii
So what makes the USA shield or the Canadian maple leaf not a corporate logo? I mean, I can buy hats and shirts and sweats with the shield or the maple leaf on it. Or is it because it's just that, a "symbol" and not a "logo"? Chewbacca
I was wondering, has anyone on here heard anything about the Czechs and their flag jersey? I'm surprised they haven't worn it at least for one game. Will they even wear it for their game against the U.S.?

I'm surprised they haven't worn it at least for one game. Will they even wear it for their game against the U.S.?The problem is that they are 1/3 white, 1/3 red and 1/3 blue. They would look bad against most teams. The USA is either blue or white so paired against those Czech flag jerseys would be awful.I guess blue would be ok: vs.

As for the Americans' throwback, with either Czech jersey, that game would be an absolute mess. XD
