I think it would actually work well if they wore their mono black unis with those socks. They've done it before.

In the Super Bowl though, I think you have to wear your regular uniforms. Powder blue in a 2009 playoff game I believe. In fact... http://www.espn.com/nfl/playoffs2008/series?series=indsdg2008 The only time an alternate aside from the 49ers in the 1994 playoffs, worn in the playoffs. Hmmmmmmmmmm, too much black in that matchup. (Captain Obvious) We'd all have a fit if that matchup was now.

They needed to wear their red socks in order to avoid the dreaded "yoga pants" look, but the black pants matched the helmet and provided more color balance. This looks so much better than the white pants, IMO: That red over black was so slick. Was part of what made me a Vick fan when i was a youngin. shstpt1
the only problem I had with that combo is the piping of the jersey and pants didn't match. A black pipe on the jersey to the red pipe on the black pants.

RayFinkle
Red yoga pants for the AFC. Nice. They match what I see women wearing in the gym.

Vick-era all-black Falcons with the striped socks vs. the Jags during the very short stint when they had teal cat-font numbers on the road AND stripes on their black pants. (Not to mention the fact that they're in opposite conferences and only get to play each other so often)

GoHawks
The pro bowl unis look dumb with the neon colors. They should do it like NBA used to do with blue and silver for one team and red and gold for the other. Also take out the color rush and it would be OK
