Last time I started this thread, it was graveyarded....

but I feel I have better evidence now, that Arizona State really is changing their unis this year.

These are a couple of photos from ASU's media day. All the players were wearing the new jerseys:

These look a whole lot better, as i expected they would be, than the replica jersey that has been floating around.

I still dont know why there hasnt been an official release yet, but I think it is safe to say now that they are changing.

Just want to know that we are keeping the gold pants though!

I still prefer our most recent set, but these are looking like they wont be as bad as i thought they might be.

They do look a lot better on the players than in replica form. But that black outline just kills it. Really nothing here that's better than their previous look.

For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

What is on the center of the neck.......(PT-42) ????

Pat Tillman - who wore #42 for the Sun Devils, I'm guessing.

Not to seem insensitive, but they're STILL trying to play the Pat Tillman angle?

Have they always had a Tillman tribute patch? If not, then why now? If they have had a PT patch all along, why not make this a permanent part of the uniform?

They've had it since he died, IIRC. You're in Pac 10 country, where have you been? :P

Major major downgrade. Why does Nike hate sleeves?

I could live with it but the black outline is horrible.

Honestly, we don't get a whole lot of ASU games this far west. Especially with Cal, Stanford, UCLA, USC, and even Oregon and Oregon State for that matter, being so much closer (At least I think, without looking it up, that the oregon schools are closer).

Jerseys turned out better than what was posted in the previous discussion. However, I agree that black outlining is a downgrade.

(MLF) Chicago Cannons,  (IHA) Phoenix Firebirds - 2021 Xtreme Cup Champions

(WAFL) Phoenix Federals - WAFL World Bowl XII Champions (Defunct)
