VampyrRabbit
I can totally buy that the Coyotes have 6 sites for a possible arena that won't require a public vote. That's because they will be told to f*** off before it gets close to that stage, and they can easily find 6 more.

SFGiants58
If you knew Arizona, I’d suggest a different list. - Florence, AZ - Golden Valley, AZ - Apache Junction, AZ - Wittmann, AZ - Three Points, AZ - Williamson, AZ Yes, my knowledge of Arizona comes entirely from the podcast Small Town Murder and this thread. Also, how has Florence not been recommended earlier? Building an arena in a literal prison town seems like something the NHL could get behind. Red Comet
Moving the team to a cow pasture like Charlie O’Finley threatened to do with the A’s would be a better strategy than the status quo for the Yotes.
LMU
If Bettman really wanted to grow the game in AZ he'd consider Colorado City. Hell, they'd probably be their first exposure to anything that qualified as recreation.

Wittman is about to break ground on a 20 acre Warehouse/train depot on US 60 and no one wants to be caught dead in Apache Junction. Also whoever called the Phoenix Valley Metro Area “Sun Valley” has never lived in “The Valley”.
FiddySicks
After all this you just know the Coyotes are going to end up playing in the parking Iot of an apartment complex in Ahwatukee. 2 Quote On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) GDAWG
Unlike in DC, both the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks are paying for renovations to their current place, the American Airlines Center rather than asking for a new arena (although Mavericks owner Mark Cuban did say that the Mavericks could consider a new arena in the heart of Dallas if Texas ever passes casino gambling). Matching burgundy suits....gotta give them an A for effort. They're throwing everything they can, to try to make people care about hockey in Arizona. What else can they do? Have celebrity appearences to promote the team? Create special events? They've already turned their entire social medias into meme accounts.
