I can't even imagine those Falcons fans tonight. If that was the Bears out there?  I'd be out of commission for awhile.

I'm a fan of one of the WORST teams in the history of the NFL, and I'm STILL happy I'm not a Falcons fan. What a choke job. What a WORTHLESS team.

I don't even HAVE a team anymore and I still prefer that to being a Falcons fan. Totally worthless franchise. I wish they'd be contracted so San Diego can get a team back in their place.

At least you'd have something to show from this. What a choke job.

I agree. Sure, everyone with a microphone is going to fellate Brady and talk about him being the best ever, blah blah blah, but the truth is Atlanta spent the last 25 minutes of that game hacking like my cat does right before he delivers a nasty fur ball.

Oh, wow! Boy, you must feel special... <_<

Apologizes; I may have a bit too much salt in my mouth.

I do feel special.  You should feel special too for being alive during this moment.

When I was a kid, I saw Montana win his last two SBs and heard everyone say he was the GOAT but I was a kid and didn't really get it.

I then lived with regret from then up until this very moment.  Now I can say I"ve seen the GOAT and do get it.  If you'll excuse me, my lady friend is on her way over and is prepared to moan "go deep Tom, oh yeah that's it, you're the greatest of all time" and I may even say "matriculate these balls gisele".

I'll give Hedley $10,000 if he goes to New England and finds a Patriots fan who existed before 2001.

He barely existed  as a Falcons fan before 2001. Boo hoo.

I've been around long enough to see both Montana and Brady. Montana was better.

It's pretty surreal to think that for the last fifteen years, the Pats have been in seven of those Super Bowls. In another way, the Pats have been there every other year. If I was a Pats fan, I would be savoring every moment, because Lord knows the end is way closer than the beginning.

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

What will they call the Edelman catch?  I couldn't feel my brain or body for the last quarter + OT.

I vote for the 8th Dimensional Catch, in honor of that laundry detergent commercial.  It was way crazier than David Tyree.  No, I don't think that name will catch on.

So who will the Patriots defeat in next year's Super Bowl?

Alright so hear me out: This year's logo had red details. The Falcons primary color is red. Next year's logo apparently has light blue accents. So with that, it's either the Panthers or Lions. SAVE THIS POST TO EMBARRASS ME IN MONTHS TIME.

Well, they weren't an expansion team, the franchise was near oblivion before the 90's & found a winning formula.  I'm not delusional.  I've been self aware since the Plummer loss at Denver stopping a threepeat, & then the Giants.  This is a lot of icing on the cake & I'm loving it.

If you mean better at dressing like a dork and hawking LA Gears then you're right.  Guy had Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, a ridiculous line, the tight end who's name is escaping me, etc.  Brady has had a rotating group of otherwise mediocre receivers, and won multiple superbowls with two 100% different teams.  Maybe Montana does the same if he had more early success - we'll never know.

I know all about "Joe Cool", and I'm certainly not going to try and take anything away from him (except for his lack of fashion sense), but I simply can't imagine anyone staying more cool than Brady.  28-3?  NBD.  No panic.  No rush.  No frustration.  His teammates see that and they don't panic, rush, or get frustrated.  Not dissing Montana or any of those other guys at all - but I simply can't imagine there being anyone else in any ere I want leading my team than Tom Brady.
