Which is why you should only take one in the first round if you're 100% convinced he's your franchise guy, and if there's one that you are convinced in, you should do whatever it takes to get him regardless of the rest of your team. Assuming they're not sold on Hurts and still feel like they need another QB, I'd rather them just see what happens with Hurts unless the QB that's there when they pick is the exact guy they want and not just the 'best available'. EDIT: If they draft the guy from North Dakota State there may be a million people lining up to jump off the Walt Whitman bridge. Maybe there could be some kind of QB exception to the cap that would make it easier to build and maintain a team around a star QB who's eligible to get paid. Work it out so the player/league split remains the same or similar, but more can go to the QBs. It's complicated but some nerd could figure out a good system. I've never seen one in person but I'm not claiming to represent the majority of people. So, knowing all that, what's in his garage shouldn't be a surprise at all. Not to denigrate his hobbies, of course. I don't know that I would call Bellingham "rural," per se. Outside of Bellingham, sure, but Bellingham proper has far more in common with Ann Arbor or Ithaca or Madison or other college towns. Basically anywhere you hunt or use the back trails for whatever (hiking, fishing, etc). You kinda live in one of the areas of the country that is separated enough from it that it would probably wouldn’t have a particular use for these.
