Rygi13 Posted June 22, 2023 Share Posted June 22, 2023 Looks like Adidas is introducing a new uniform material/ knit pattern. Gone is the chevron pattern on the chest. It also looks like the "W" logo moves to the actual collar instead of being applied to the jersey under the collar. Love to see the return of pant stripes. It seemed like Adidas and Nike were dead set on killing the pant stripe. At least Adidas seems to be bringing them back! My distaste of the pants stripes has more to do with them being thick at the top and really thin at the bottom. Would be 10x better than their stripes that just stop for no reason. On Washington though it just looks weird. Getting rid of the gold outline on the numbers looks fine for the classic gold/purple/gold but every other combination it is badly missed. The tapered pant stripes are puzzling too. Washington just needs to keep it simple, here's what they should have: - Same helmet - Plain purple jersey (no weird purple stripe), white numbers with gold outline - Plain white jersey (no weird purple stripe), purple numbers with gold outline - Gold pants with purple/white/purple stripe - Solid purple pants 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The tapering pant stripe gives it a traditional yet modernized touch that doesn’t bother me as bad as it should.
