It looks like they did everything they could to make sure the warmer colors weren't used for the cap base. They did use Calgary's red, but then they just don't use a single team color for Colorado or Minnesota? The hell?

There's a burgundy Avs draft cap on the NHL shop website. It's not the "On Stage" version.

The black "On stage" Avs hat is youth size only for some weird reason.

 

The adult hat is the burgandy version.

Yeah, that is weird. There are too many black or blue hats at the draft for such a colorful league.

That entire line of Vintage jerseys by Mitchell & Ness was filled with issues.

 

I would guess they had the template for this jersey on file from this retro jersey and copied it without really even thinking if the dimensions were right.

 

It was what the Kings wanted from what I was told. It was brought up that the stripes looked big and the team was okay with it

A bit late, because I have limited internet access during the week, but I love the Ducks changes. As a fan, I'm a fan. I do think the orange equipment will take some time getting used to and I think the orange yoke on the away is a tad unnecessary, but it's such a massive, massive improvement over what it was prior.

 

I also do like the wordmark and the number fonts with the art deco/citrus industry tie-in but I do agree it looks like they couldn't properly fit all the colours in in their attempt to match the logo.

I at least really hope this is a “can’t finish it in time for the draft” situation, as the graphics we’ve seen thus far have shown Utah’s sweaters with the stripes.

How do they not have this done yet? You only need 13 jerseys, and you've had 15 days since announcement. They don't need to be ready for retail. Heck, most of your later picks won't even show up, so really they only needed three jerseys (two keepers for Round 1 and one to share for Round 2). The hat is even worse, as the logo leaked 29 days ago. You had a month, Fanatics, for a TEMPLATED HAT.
