Puck
I did some baseball players that were traded as prospect a later became stars. Here are a few more:Adam Jones with the Mariners:Jeremy Guthrie with the Indians:Scott Kazmir with the Mets:Matt Garza with the Twins:Time Wakefield with the Pirates:Grady Sizemore with the Expos:sorry if some of these have already been posted, I haven't look through this whole thread in a long time.I think we need to redefine what "legend" means once again. CubsFanBudMan
I think we need to redefine what "legend" means once again. I was just about to:Cubs legend Mark DeRosa in a Cardinals uniform. What do you mean he's not a legend? That's not what the multiple Wrigley standing ovations and the sports talk radio in Chicago suggest. I apologize if this is a bit too inside-joke, but I was tempted when he was an Indian. Now that he's a Cardinal (and as noted above, the bar has been lowered), I could not resist. Saintsfan
As a very quick aside on this topic. How in years to come are people going to feel about Kevin Garnett's years in Boston? I mean, without finally getting a championship in Boston, he would be a shoo in for this topic, but I kind of think of Garnett as a Celtic now, not a T-wolf seeing out his final years in the wrong uniform. I mean, without finally getting a championship in Boston, he would be a shoo in for this topic, but I kind of think of Garnett as a Celtic now, not a T-wolf seeing out his final years in the wrong uniform. He fit in so well and quickly as a Celtics, it seems like he was destined to be in green.KG in a Timberwolves uniform looks like a legend in the wrong uniform to me now. charger77
Ray BourqueTeemu SelannePaul KariyaKariya and Selanne are definately wrong jerseys. However I can buy the argument to an extent that Bourque is not in a "wrong jersey" when considering the story behind it and what happened in his last game as a member of the Avalanche.-Dan Quote PotD May 11th, 2011looooooogodud: June 7th 2010 - July 5th 2012
