LMU Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 My router was down, so I couldn't post anything, but from what I can recall, Hugo's eyes were solid, it now had a toothed grin instead of the gaped open mouth, the soles of the shoes were now solid, and the wing detail was now one piece, surrounded by "New Orleans Hornets" in the ASG style font.Now, a question for those with knowledge... do the Sonics already have an OKC identity in place, or are they going to fly by the seat of their pants on that one? Davey Posted June 27, 2008 Share Posted June 27, 2008 Ok, I was watching the draft and when the hornets selected there draft pick, right before they went to the highlights of the draft pick they chose they should the logo.I noticed it was different because of the font around the Hornet.So I go on this site ( don't know if im allowed to say it ) where they had a highlight of the draft.So I went back and capture the logo, but it was only shown less then 5 seconds , so this is best picture I could get of it, but it gives you an idea of what it looks like if that is the new logo, or im guessing updated logo.Anyways here is the best pic I could get for you guys (finally got photobucket to work ) ; Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Especially that ASG logo - may be my favorite ASG logo of any sport ever. I thought it was hardly intimidating, especially for a professional basketball team. And from what it seems, it's still stupid looking. How on earth can you correlate a logo such as Hugo to the fleur de bee? Stupid marketing people.... I know it was mentioned in an article, but I haven't heard anything for months, and nothing at all from the team that would suggest any change is coming other than the switch to blue as the road color.
