I haven't done much research into the park...

However, it looks like the underline of "Twins" has been modified just enough so that only "win" is underlined. Am I crazy in thinking that after every victory, the "Twins" sign will be on, but the T and s will be dark?

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

The stitches are fixed!

YAY! Also, the MINNESOTA is gone.

so we can pretty much decipher from the twins shaking hands logo that the new primary will just be a cleaner version of their current primary logo. I'm okay with that.

You know, since it's called "Target Field" I'm going to be very shocked if they don't have a big red target logo within homerun distance of homeplate. You could have the obvious "hit target, selected fan wins a truck" type promotions.

I thought it had always been like that... as in "Win! Twins!"

This is true, but if you look at the new pics it looks like the underline is moved over slightly so that it is only win and not a small part of the S.

As long as it's not those cheapskate bastards from Subway who refused to pay up because a visiting team player put one in the hole in their stupid sign for the first time in 27 years.

All this talk about classic Twins baseball makes me thirsty for a little something from that land of sky-blue waters...(Nostalgics will know what I'm talking about)

But I'd settle for a Summit, if only they would distribute it east of the Ohio.

What, no Pigs Eye Pilsner? No, I prefer my beer to be sold by a polar bear.

Since we're talking about Minnesota beer, has anyone heard of or tried, I think, Northern? Could be Northerner. Dunno, I can't find anything online, but it's 8 bucks for a 24 (or was it 30) pack at the liquor store. I would love to hear how disgusting it is...

32-oz cups of Grain Belt for $3 at a Duluth Dukes game would like to disagree with you.

Which beer had the big mouth bottle that looked like a beer keg? Was that Blatz?

This thread is now about 1970's beer commercials from the upper midwest.

Pretty sure you're right on Blatz.
