If Syracuse can be more efficient on offense, I think they'll beat Northwestern next week. Not too bad of a loss considering we were up against a top 10 team on the road, and nobody was expecting a win anyway, so next week could be the start of a pretty good season

Yeah, I'm not going to lie, I was expecting a 42-7 type game. Still a relative yawner though. Wake me up in 2 weeks after we drub Temple yet again and Big 10 + 1 play starts...

Central Michigan upsets Michigan State 29-27 with a field goal with 8 seconds to go!

Had State not jumped offside on the first kick they would have won the game.

Right when Sparty has the nation think they can take the next step up...the deliver that.

Also, Fresno St. will now mail in their season and go 7-5.

Uggh, I'm finally gonna say it. I think it's about time to move Boise State to the MWC, they're WAY too good for a second rate conference like the WAC.

I flipped past WMU@Indiana. One of the goal posts is not even close to being straight (10 feet high) nor parallel to the endline.

South endzone, right?

That was mentioned last week as well.

Also, what Conference were the refs from, and what was the point spread in that game. The refs damn near gave WMU a 90 yard touchdown drive at the end of the game. <_<

Also, paging Dr. Lou to the white courtesy phone. Paging Dr. Lou. Baron Harkonnen appears to have miscalculated again.

Great. I was not drinking then and was not hungover, so since you were at the game and last week's, my eyes were not fooling me. I assume they were from the MAC and angry about field conditions.

Houston needs that blue outline on their uniforms.

The upset alert horn is no longer being sounded in Laramie, Wyoming. After spending a half mired in an offensive funk, the Longhorns have turned on the switch and scored 21 points halfway through the 3rd quarter.

I just saw that Matt Millen was sent to Ann Arbor for the game today.

That's....bold on ABC's part. I assume they have bullet-proofed the press box.

The upset alert horn is no longer being sounded in Laramie, Wyoming. After spending a half mired in an offensive funk, the Longhorns have turned on the switch and scored 21 points halfway through the 3rd quarter.

And that offensive funk probably came from the fact that Wyoming's home field is some 7,000 feet above sea level, which makes it the highest stadium in the FBS in terms of being above sea level. Yes, Texas has been to Colorado, but that was at least a 1,000 or so feet shorter.

Speaking of the upset horn being shut off, Oklahoma State has roared back against Houston to take a 28-24 lead late in the 3rd.

Time to shut the upset alarm off in Ann Arbor, Michigan has retaken the lead.

Nice of you to drop in.

Bill Lynch had a "you" moment in the last minute of the 4th quarter, opting to eat the safety and get a free kick rather than simply punt when IU was deep in its own territory.

Probably trade them for San Diego State. Then again, why not trade San Diego State AND Wyoming to the MWC for Boise State and Fresno State?

But did they run sweeps and reverses on the series prior? The goal was to run out the clock completely.

I agree and I think if that happens the MWC should get an automatic BCS bid, and the Big East should not.
