Wow. If you had told me that the first two games would be 11-7 & 9-0 but didn't tell me who won, I would've told you that Bad Vlad & Josh Hamilton went to town on the Giants' pitching. Obviously, it's vice versa. Never thought I'd see the Giants explode like this, and I didn't think I'd see the Rangers pitching return to sucking. But wow, that was VERY impressive from the Giants & now they're in a very good position. All they gotta do is win one game in Texas and they're probably gonna win it all. I think they can do it. Go Giants Go!

All those bases by balls given by the Rangers in the 8th must set a new record in the World Series history!

Well, 2 down, 2 to go! Good trip to Texas, beloved Giants! Win at least one so we'll party back home in Frisco!!! (bow)

Amazing. This was a great game. I'm glad Mota finally got a chance to pitch. Earlier in the playoffs I figured that the only way he'd get in is if the Giants were winning a blowout, and here it is. Renteria's been remarkable defensively lately, and now he gets a home run. This is so awesome.

Was anyone expecting the Giants' offense to wake up the way it did this series? They scored 11 runs total in the LDS and LCS and met that total in Game 1, then added another nine tonight.

With a 2-0 lead, I think the Giants will probably wrap up the series in five, the way they're playing. I suddenly can't see the Rangers winning any more games that Cliff Lee isn't starting, although if it does go six or seven games, it will be because they have a great chance to win Game 3.

Boy does ESPN give the Giants any credit for winning. No, they just say Texas blew it. Karl "The Toupee" Ravech and "Fat Boy" John Kruk are useless.

Just watch the actual games, tons of Giant-slobbering on those. Can't say they haven't earned it.

It's time! (to make this interesting)

Yesterday the Giants won by Cain, luck, and the Rangers pen. Luck that Kinsler ball did not go over the ball, and Cain was just awesome. It would have been intersting to see Brian Wilson with the game on the line in the 9th. No doubt he could have saved it, but once the Rangers pen inploded it was awful to watch.

The Giants won because of luck? Give me a break! Maybe Kinsler should have put a little more power behind that drive instead. And even IF Kinsler's ball bounces the other way, the Giants only win by eight runs.

San Francisco won because if stellar pitching, timely hitting, and help from the Rangers craptacular bullpen, period.

If you don't see the Rangers winning a game that Cliff Lee doesn't start, then how do you expect them to lose in 5? Lee will pitch Game 5 most likely no matter what. He's never pitched on three days rest in his life.

Not only are the Giants doing just about everything right, they're also getting some Angels In the Outfield style breaks this series. How that ball hit by Kinsler didn't leave the yard is beyond my understanding. I mean that ball damn near defied the laws of physics. The only thing I can compare it to is when Ritchie Sexon knocked a huge homer in Houston which happened to hit high off of the flag pole that's in play and turned into only a base hit. It's just that rare. And Kinsler looked he was just about to burst into tears when they showed him standing on second. That play changed the face of the entire game, it gave the Giants all the momentum they needed and they cruised after that. Texas had a few incidents of adversity and instead of battling through, they folded. And I don't think you can necessarily call this a wake up call for the Rangers, either. This is more a case of the pressure being too much for them to handle. If not the whole team, most certainly the bullpen. Going back home is just what the doctor ordered for this team. It could kick start them and give them the confidence boost they need. But they're gonna have to take all three at home to pull this off. Winning two in San Francisco vs Mat Cain and Tim Lincecum is a TALL order.

So what, you have a crystal ball or something? When you change one event, you can't assume that everything after would have happened the same way. Holy :censored: man.

I'm not sure you can completely butterfly away as massive a display of collective incompetence as the Rangers bullpen put on yesterday, though.

That's what I mean by Luck, that ball bounces over the wall we have a different game completely. That ball landing in play and Kinsler not being able to score took all the air out of the Rangers.

Of course Cain was great and the Rangers pen sucked, but that one play changed the whole game.

Hey Eye, I actually thought as you... but let's remember Game 1. The Giants started that game losing 2-0.

Then they apiled 2 runs in an inning and 6 runs in another inning. That was a fact of attitude.

So if Kinsler would have made that home run, it's probable that the Giants repeated Game 1: trailing it before winning it with alots of runs.
