Planning to add in March/April:

AAMI Park, Melbourne AU

ANZ Stadium, Sydney AU

Etihad Stadium, Melbourne AU (maybe)

Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne AU

Sydney Football Stadium, Sydney AU

May I ask which sports you'll be seeing at these grounds? Just a out of interest.

I went back and updated my list with teams, but my plan when I'm down there is to see AFL at ANZ (GWS vs Swans), the MCG (most likely Richmond vs Carlton), and maybe Etihad. The SFS will be for Sydney FC vs Newcastle Jets in the A-League, while AAMI will be for NRL: Melbourne Storm vs Newcastle.

I don't want to name teams...I don't always know them. Favorite place by sport bolded

College Hockey:

  • Old Mariucci (Minn)
  • New Mariucci (Minn)
  • Dane County Coliseum (Wisc)
  • Kohl Center (Wisc)
  • Quinnipiac (former place, smaller than my high school's arena)
  • "The Whale" (Yale...don't recall the real name)
  • UMass (don't recall the name)
  • Bradley Center
  • Target Center
  • XCel Energy Center
  • Pepsi Arena (Albany)

College Football:

  • Memorial Stadium (Minnesota)
  • Metrodome (Minnesota)
  • Camp Randall (Wisconsin)
  • Kinnick Stadium (Iowa)
  • Ryan Field (Northwestern...I think that's the name)
  • Memorial Stadium (Illinois)
  • Notre Dam Stadium
  • Neyland Stadium (Tennessee)
  • TCF Bank Stadium (Minnesota)
  • Sam Boyd Stadium (UNLV)

TCF has best sightlines, though atmosphere goes to Wisconsin or Iowa

College Basketball:

  • Williams Arena (Minnesota)
  • Metrodome (NCAA Tourney)
  • Fieldhouse (Wisc)
  • Kohl Center (Wisc)
  • Carver Hawkeye Arena (Iowa)
  • Whatever the call the gym at Central CT State
  • Hartford Civic Center

Williams has the old barn character without being as totally run down as the UW Fieldhouse

NHL:

  • Met Center (North Stars)
  • Kiel Center (or whatever it's called...Blues)
  • United Center (Blackhawks)
  • Fleet Center (Bruins)
  • XCell Energy Center (Wild)

NBA:

  • Metrodome (Wolves)
  • Target Center (Wolves)
  • Bradley Center (Bucks)

NFL:

  • Metrodome (Vikings)

By default

MLB:

  • Met Stadium (Twins...I barely remember)
  • Metrodome (Twins)
  • County Stadium (Brewers)
  • Oakland (whatever it's called...A's)
  • AT&T Park (Giants)
  • Coors Field (Rockies)
  • Turner Field (Braves)
  • New Commisky (White Sox)
  • Wrigley (Cubs)
  • Camden Yards (O's)
  • Fenway Park (Red Sox)
  • Commerica Park (Tigers)
  • Kaufmann Stadium (Royals)
  • Busch Stadium (Cookie Cutter...Cards)
  • Yankee Stadium (Previous...Yanks)
  • Yankee Stadium (Current...Yanks)
  • Shea Stadium (Mets)
  • Citi Field (Mets)
  • Cinergy Field (Reds)
  • Citizens Bank Park (Phillies)
  • Safeco Field (Mariners)
  • Petco Park (but only for WBC)
  • Nationals Ballpark (Nationals)
  • Miller Park (Brewers)
  • Target Field (Twins)

Plenty of good ones, but I just cannot get enough of being in Fenway...yeah I'm usually behind a pole, but there's just something about it for me.

Disclaimer: If this comment is about an NBA uniform from 2017-2018 or later, do not constitute a lack of acknowledgement of the corporate logo to mean anything other than "the corporate logo is terrible and makes the uniform significantly worse."

I've seen all 32 NFL teams, 33 if you count the Houston Oilers. Being a Jets season ticket holder for 22 years and counting will make that happen.

I've also seen every MLB team but Cleveland (including Montreal), and been to 20 of the 30 current parks, plus a handful of now-defunct ones.

Can't get an official tally on NHL teams, but it's gotta be at least 20, and NBA is only a handful.

NHL

I've seen games in person involving

Calgary Flames

Edmonton Oilers

Montreal Canadiens

Vancouver Canucks

More than once--it seems every time I get to a game, it involves two Canadian based teams.

CFL

I've seen each existing team more than once, I can't say for sure that I ever saw an Ottawa game in person though.

I have been outside of each stadium in the league, except for Montreal's and Taylor Field.

And I've seen Lansdowne Park in Ottawa in person.

No MLB, NBA, NCAA or NFL games in person--although I did drive by Seattle's Qwest field during a Mariner's games--and a Mariner broke a record that day--I forget which one it was.

So lots of CFL games in person, and a handful of NHL ones, plus various junior, minor and Canadian University & college league games.

I'm going to put Stadiums in a separate category since some stadiums/arenas host more than one sport as well as the fact that my work as a background performer has taken me to arenas that I haven't seen a sporting event in (at least one that was real).

CFL

All 9 traditional teams, plus Sacramento Gold Miners, San Antonio Texans, Montreal Concordes

NHL

(Exhibition Games only) Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks

MLB

Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago White Sox

AHL Since others have included them, I may as well also, though I don't think I can remember all of them...

Hamilton Canucks, Hamilton Bulldogs, St. John's Maple Leafs, Rochester Americans, Hershey Bears, Albany River Rats, Hartford Wolfpack, Adirondack Red Wings, Cinncinati Mighty Ducks

OHL Oh, for the hell of it, lets include Jr. Hockey since I've been infrequent enough that I remember them all...

Hamilton Red Wings, Hamilton Fincups, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, Ottawa '67s, Belleville Bulls

Arenas/Stadiums (Hosted professional teams only)

Hamilton Forum, Copps Coliseum, Ivor Wynne Stadium, Exhibition Stadium, Skydome/Rogers Centre, Maple Leaf Gardens, Air Canada Centre, Ricoh Coliseum, HSBC Arena, Ottawa Civic Centre

I've only been to a handful of pro sporting events.

MLB

NBA

Verizon Center. 4 games total; WSH def. Lithuanian national team (2007 pre-season), DEN def. WSH (2007), CHI def. WSH (2007), and WSH def. CLE (2011).

That's it.
