TCU's helmet stripes look like black electric tape.

Oklahoma State's dark gray helmets are really sharp, IMO. Very cool helmet shell color. Better than the gray helmets they wore last year.

Agree with both of these. Oklahoma State looks great but TCU looks awful.

Oregon wore green in the Pac-12 Championship game and the Rose Bowl last year...

They used the Rose Bowl to show off their ridiculous new uniform. As far as I'm concerned, it was disrespectful.

Do you know how many teams have worn special uniforms for the Rose Bowl? The answer is you don't. TCU did it the year before, for instance and other teams have done the same thing for decades. You hate Oregon (or so it seems...) so please don't let facts get in the way of a good story.

Exactly. Actually alot of teams do something for example, Wisconsin wears red pants there when the designated road team, but never do during the season, except last year when the badgers had those super classy rose printed uniforms, when they wore the usual all white. I didn't mind Oregon last year having the new unis. The chrome was so unique because at the time that never had been done before.

Another year of Nike killing it with the BCS apparel

I agree it looks great.

I'm sure there will be plenty of people around here that will hate it.

get ready for these responses...

-"that swoosh is obnoxious and unnecessary"

-"why is the Rutgers type BFBS?"

-"why is it a gray hoodie...GFGS?"

-"Wow Nike couldn't even get the text to be straight on the hoodie?"

There's a difference the width of the Pacific Ocean between adding a rose to the helmet logo (or a rose pattern, in Wisconsin's case) and wearing some ridiculous uniform just to show off.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

But it wasn't showing off, it was previewing next season's uniforms, something they - and others - have often done in bowl games. I'm from the heart of B1G country and a B1G lifer who loves the tradition of the Rose Bowl. I had no problem with the UO unis.

I'm having a hard time telling who is who in this Nebraska-Wisconsin game....lol

Wisconsin has a "W" on their helmet, while Nebraska has an "N"...

You're welcome.

Weren't you making an argument that some people can't tell it's Oregon when they're wearing black and silver?

Why you make fun of me? I make concept for Auburn champions and you make fun of me. I cry tears.
Chopping off the dicks of Filipino boys and embracing causes that promote bigotry =/= strong moral character.

Nope, don't think so... you have me confused with other Oregon bashers. I've said their constant uniform reinvention and color turnover keeps them building a consistant visual brand, but I never said i would confuse them with someone else. Like an annoying teenager begging for attention by dressing in one ridiculous outfit after another, you always know its them.

Honestly the only thing that bothers me is the stupid Discover logo in the corner. It looks terrible with the black and red scripts. Otherwise it is a good sweatshirt.

Hit it right on the head again. I feel the exact same way. Grant it I'm not as opposed to new age uniforms as much as some here, but like I said, if you're going to the prom, you dress like it. And there was zero problem with what the ducks wore last year

Hopefully Wisconsin rolls out another special Rose Bowl uniform with a rose pattern in the numbers and helmet decal or something similar.

If they took their Unrivalled unis, replaced the W on the jersey with their standard numbers and put the motion W on the lid and used that rose pattern on the helmet and sleeves it'd be a nice look.

Unfortunately, it's already been confirmed that Stanford's wearing black tonight. At least we know that UCLA won't wear those atrocious navy uniforms since they're on the road.

Pity. A color-vs-color matchup between UCLA and Stanford would look good.

That's not good. And Stanford will be the home team in the Rose Bowl if they win. I hope they would be smart enough not to wear black for the Rose Bowl.

You'd hope so, but as we all know, book smart doesn't mean street smart.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl....... I..... I don't think I can get over that.

The name is stupid, but I'd suggest going if you can. It's at Sun Devils stadium right on the ASU campus, and its definitely a fun place to be. Bummed I won't be here for it.
