It would be cool to see the Irish make it "all the way back" but I wouldn't mind seeing Alabama pull off the repeat either.My general rule is to root against SEC teams and tonight's no different. However, it's futile. I don't think Notre Dame has a chance. 44-10 seems charitable to me; I wouldn't be surprised to see a bigger blowout. No team that needs as much luck to beat Pitt has a chance against a Saban Alabama team.And while I'm generally down on Alabama as an institution, I think what Saban has done with the team is pretty special.
