Cujo
Someone here did a concept that was between the previous classic-but-messy Dolphins logo and the current clean-but-inferior one. Wish I could find it.This one?

hormone
Let me guess. Stylish fish (I know the dolphin is not a fish) like the Marlins, some funky font, some odd stripes placed in strange places, blank sleeves like the Broncos, Logo above the name plate, and a gray facemask as an ode to the undefeated team. tBBP
Hey, if it gets me some free publicity, so be it. (The funny thing is I first created that concept four years ago. Maybe I should float a version without that date at the bottom...) *Disclaimer: I am not an authoritative expert on stuff...I just do a lot of reading and research and keep in close connect with a bunch of people who are authoritative experts on stuff. || dribbble || Behance ||

NJTank
About time. Personally, I'd love for them to tweak this a bit and run with it: That looks awesome! www.sportsecyclopedia.com For the best in sports history go to the Sports E-Cyclopedia at http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com

Brian in Boston
IDOLPHINS ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE MEAN like the logo has it looking...They don't wear football helmets, either. However, based on your comment, I take it you don't have a problem with that incongruous element. Go figure. The Dolphins' logo is outstanding exactly as it is. I could possibly see removing some of the Navy shadowing. Anything beyond that amounts to little more than "logo redesign to spur merchandising-fueled cash-grab". Brian in Boston
Something like this belongs on either the corporate letterhead of a South Florida residential real estate development firm, or the signage at an aquarium/waterpark. It has no place gracing the on-field uniforms of the Miami Dolphins. Which is probably why the Dolphins organization has limited its use to date. Derek94
The NFL is divided into the classics who'll never change their design - Bears, Raiders, Packers, Cowboys etc. And the others have had multiple revisions of their uniforms.Miami falls somewhere in between as they've retained the same template since '64 with just a navy blue shadow outline added in the 90's. Here's hoping they follow BUC's vision in 2013.

It was supposed to be open this year but hasn't. It is still part of his master plan for the property.
