After watching a bland 49ers/Cardinals game, I enjoy seeing teams who are 'bold' in their color choice. Besides, the dolphin truly is a classic logo. I'd drop the facemask, and maybe the football, because it feels like too many elements are kind of splashed together. Might want to pick and choose. Detailed sunburst or detailed D? What do you think of my concept everyone?With Buc's work a solid first in this dolphin derby, what this logo's helmet needs is Griese's old Dungard mask elongated enough to go around the dolphin's snout. Buc, one thing I think would be a nice option to consider for your helmet would be to enlarge the logo. I've seen this style elsewhere but don't know the name for it ("zoom" might work) but it's the deal where you see only a portion of the logo. So your helmet might just have part of the sun thing but the dolphin would be big enough that its tail is near the helmet bumper and the head is up where the stripes begin (no stripes though). Who wouldn't fear a dolphin with big sharp teeth, huge steroid-fueled muscles, opposable thumbs, and an appetite to devour the single most important thing that's needed to play its sport. Think about that defense - you can't give up any yards if the offense doesn't have a ball to move against you.Oh - and sinister eyebrows too. It really has it all.
