Experiment if you must.But it definitely doesn't work in a game. And the fact that it's on a black cap and not red just makes it worse. Jungle Jim Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 LAME.I was looking forward to seeing the Reds' regular home uniform with the white jerseys and red hats being used in another stadium.This red jersey, white pants, black hat look didn't look good with the los rojos jerseys and it doesn't look good now.It does look weird seeing the Giants in gray in AT&T Park.I've been looking forward to the same thing (seeing the Reds in their white home jerseys in SF) ever since I heard they were playing this game. And like you, I was very disappointed to see what they hit the field with. Those caps need to never see game action again. On the other hand, we're seeing something tonight that I don't think we've seen in many years, and that's the Reds wearing their red jerseys after dark. When they're batting and have the red helmets one, they look great. I'm not a fan of colored jerseys, but I like seeing these under the lights. Onviously, I'd never confuse one team for another, but it's still two blue teams with a splash of red under the script. Not Leafs/Bolts level, but closer to Red Wings/Coyotes. Grey/silver is not part of your colour scheme. Plus, it often gets lost on the jerseys, leaving just the navy portion visible. Nobody cares about your humungous-big signature.
