Just another example of why they should just split the state in two. On 11/19/2012 at 7:23 PM, oldschoolvikings said: She’s still half convinced “Chris Creamer” is a porn site.) Still MIGHTY
Josh. Freaking. Hamilton. WOW. Can't say I saw that one coming. My concern is still with the pitching. After that awful April, the hitting rounded into form the rest of the season, but they had trouble keeping runs off the board/closing out games from the 6th onward. They picked up a lot of guys (Madsen, Hanson, Blanton, Burnett), but is that lot of guys good enough? I guess we're going to wait and see. I'd be more comfortable if we had spent some of that Hamilton money on Greinke, but who knows. If this team can hit like it looks they can on paper, they'll be pumping.----And BucFan, agreed 100% | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |

NEW.ERA
Saying right now. Neither LA teams will make the World Series. Baseball is a funny game, and it's pushing more and more towards how you play entering the playoffs, then how much your lineup's net worth is. Money isn't the all mighty any more, kinda sucks the Jays had to spend this offseason to become relevent again, when chances are it won't translate into a ring. I'll also agree with you Lights that the Rays will be good this year with Wil Myers and all of KC prospects we get for Shields (who's getting older) and Davis (I personally hate, due to his inconsistency). Seadragon76
Seattle had a chance to land Hamilton. They were talking to the guy...Why did they sit on their hands and do nothing! What were they waiting for? MAKE THE DAMN DEAL!This is the kind of crap that'll keep the M's in the AL West basement for years to come. The pitching is great and all... but a decent hitter would be nice.
McCall
I don't think the M's were as serious contenders as they were being led to believe. IMO, they were probably being used to levy a better contract from someone else. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

Problem is that no one in that lineup (save for maybe Smoak) is capable of that.
McCall
If I'm the Rangers, my first thought is sign Michael Bourn to play CF, bring up Profar at SS, move Andrus to 2B, Kinsler to LF and bring Olt up at 1B.You can try and trade for someone, like maybe Giancarlo Stanton, but you're gonna have to give up Andrus, if you're lucky. They'd probably demand Profar or no deal. https://dribbble.com/MakaioCall

Funky Bunky
Welp, the Angels are gonna need him with that weak ass pitching staff they have. The starting rotation isn't great, but they could end up being decent to good. Weaver is Weaver, Wilson has been a good pitcher in the past, Hanson too, Richards is young and promising, and Blanton isn't terrible for a 4/5 guy, and having Trout and possibly Bourjos in the outfield will help. The Bullpen looks pretty good right now, with the additions of Burnett and Madson (who I'll admit is kind of a question mark, but still), to go along with Frieri, Downs, an improved Kevin Jepsen, and Jerome Williams.Their staff is not that bad. Kramerica Industries
I remember when the Angels were the team that routinely struck out on the big-name free agents. But this was kind of a necessary move, with the way the Dodgers have taken back LA in the past couple months.
