I'm very satisfied. That couldn't have gone any better.

Direct reversal of the game earlier in Cincinnati and this time John Manziel looked awful doing it.

Aaron Rodgers is 17-42, 0 TD, 2 INT right now*... one bad game is not a career.

*but he will probably lead a game-winning drive any minute now.

Nope a Buffalo Safety..... and 21-13 Bills win.

They're still alive? The Panthers are still alive?

Seriously, a few weeks ago, I said that this team does not deserve to be in the playoffs. Now, I see that spark that was gone for the majority of the year. The offense is scoring enough, and the defense is causing havoc all game. The team I've seen the last two weeks has playoff potential, even if they don't make it.

And how about Derek Anderson? He has really shown me that he still plays well. And if he's good for one thing, it's beating Tampa Bay.

The Bills are 8-6 with an outside chance to finish 10-6 (assuming they can win week 17 at NE, which is a big assumption!). They're looking up at the 9-5 Steelers, who are likely to finish 11-5, same deal with the Ravens, and the Bengals, who can finish 10-5-1. So in a year when the Bills are finally in a position to hit a winning record, they're all but out of the playoffs. That's so Buffalo.

But anyway, huge win against the Packers today, capping a 4-0 run through the NFC North. They'll at least have that!

Manziel looks terrible. two interceptions, every throw is high, he can't run out of pressure. I love every second of it.

Holy :censored:! I was hoping the arrogant, cocky, overrated Johnny Manziel would be defeated by the Bengals, but I wasn't expecting a game as lopsided as this!

Manziel was 10/18 with only 80 yards and 2 picks. That is the future of the Browns.

The sad part about this is that if Cleveland were in the NFC South, Johnny Football would be hailed as the "3rd coming of Jesus Christ (2nd is LeBron) who led the Browns to 1st place."

Good thing they're not in the NFC South?

Browns fans (and non Browns fan Johnny Football Fanboys) have been hyping this punk since he got drafted. They've been doing the stupid-ass money symbol, posting pictures of him hanging out with Drake and Lebron, dismissing his coke parties, and being generally annoying.

They've wanted to see this kid replace Hoyer for a month. He goes in and plays horribly, and I know one game does not a career make, but it's just a little bit satisfying and vindicating. I love when a world class dbag gets their comeuppance.

It's gonna be SO exciting to see Tampa lose the rest of their games and then still lose the coin toss (or two) for the #1 overall pick.

Yet they were JUST eliminated from playoff contention today, a 2-11 team was "in the hunt" this morning! And they could very easily get the #1 pick next May.

How absurd is that?

Is anyone comparing Wilson to Dilfer? If so that's just silly. While we don't know what he's really capable of because not much is being asked of him (doesn't mean he can't be a star QB, just that we don't know he is), he's certainly proven to be a smart, mobile, and decisive QB who doesn't just "manage the game" (which is the STUPIDEST phrase I've heard of in regards to football), he can win a game.

Maybe a better comparison (right now at least) would be Simms or Bradshaw (championship winning QBs overshadowed (in one case at least) by their team's defense and not given a lot of credit) with the potential to be maybe a Roethlisburger or someone on that next tier (probably not top tier though.)

Calling out BucFan here.

Simms is an interesting comparison. He won two championships (although he only played in one), and was generally known as a good quarterback in his time.

But really, there can only be a few great quarterbacks at a time, and there are often several very good ones. Wilson is in the latter category, and he got there pretty quickly.

Mark Rypien might fall in to that category too. People don't remember but at the time, he was considered good. It wasn't until later that he got kind of lumped in with the Dilfers and Brad Johnsons of the world.

Wilson has a chance to be like Aikman. Aikman is never in any GOAT discussions, and is certainly not considered to be in that top tier of QBs, but is generally placed in a group ahead of the Simmseses and Rypiens and Bradshaws of the world.

It would be interesting to see how he'd fare with a different coaching staff. I don't think the importance of coaching can be understated in today's NFL. By no means do you need a "system" to be a successful team, but some players certainly benefit from playing in a system that emphasizes their strengths and limits exposure to their weaknesses. I'm not saying that he's in that category - just that we don't know (and ultimately does it matter? That's a whole other discussion.)

Yeah I'm pretty much done. I've seen so many insanely bad calls go against the Niners in the past two years that it's really not even worth watching anymore.

What a joke roughing the passer penalties are.

If you can't hit the QB like that... how the hell are you supposed to hit him? The NFL is becoming unwatchable.
You should've seen the Steelers-Falcons game today. Matt Ryan got laid out on a sack where Vince Williams hit his helmet to Ryan's chest and they called roughing the passer. I was there, and me along with a lot of other Steelers fans there were pretty pissed when they showed the replay.

Speaking of which, I really enjoyed my first NFL game. The Georgia Dome is actually a nice place to watch a game. It's clean, and the concession areas are nice. The atmosphere was great, especially with all the Steelers fans there. It was awesome riding the train there, which had more Steelers fans than Falcons fans.
