Great game, really happy to see the Seahawks pull it out.

Sadly, I'm sure Goodell is already thinking about changing the overtime rules again after that game.

The game was decided on the overtime coin toss.

Yeah, damn that coin, marching down the field for a touchdown!

You're right, but it is a pretty big advantage given how much the rules favor the offense and continue to trend in that direction. There's a reason nobody ever concedes or chooses to kick (unless the weather plays into it, like Den/NE last year). But whatever, I don't really disagree with you. The Broncos had a 50/50 shot at that very advantage too so it's no big thing. Hopefully the Broncos took enough away late in that game to come out with a better strategy should they meet Seattle again.

My biggest takeaway from the game is the absurdity that is the five yards for a defensive holding penalty being tacked onto the end of a play. Does the NFL think people like when defenses are so handcuffed? Do people actually like that?

For once, I agree with LO. This Bronco defense had no problem stopping the Seahawks offense for most of the day. They didn't do it when it matter most. The OT rules are fine.

Only one thing will change the NFL's overtime rules. A scoreless tie. The instant we have one, the OVERREACTION will be even worse than the reaction to the Ray Rice video. J/K

Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends. Sounds like something from a Rocky & Bullwinkle story arc.

Carolina has transformed into this formless glob of nothing on offense. Just bad. Everything about it. THIS is somehow your marquee game of the week, despite having a SB rematch earlier in the day. NBC done :censored: ed up.

What a strange year so far. Gotta love it.

Really, other than Seattle (and I guess Denver), nobody has really looked like a great team so far this season.

And as much as I hate to see the Niners collapse, it's also pretty cool to see the Cards playing so well. I had a feeling they would. Hopefully they're this years Seahawks.

The Cowboys started slow because they played like crap, not because of the blue jersey curse. That bad start was partially due to the play of the Rams and partially because of bad choices by the offense. When you couple that with a bad defense, you're down 21-0.

Dallas should've never been down 21-0 in the first place. The team can't play consistently at all.

This is true. I have to say though, the Cowboys impressed me today. They came back from 21-0 down and they never abandoned the run. They still ran more than they threw even though they didn't take a lead until the 4th quarter. That shows me that the Cowboys are truly committed to running the ball. I don't care that we had a comeback against the Rams. Coming back from 21-0 down against anybody is impressive (except maybe if it's the Jaguars... I kid, I kid). They never even looked flustered too.

Murray is still the leagues leading rusher and no one is within 100 yards of him. He just needs to hold that ball high and tight, like Tiki.

We've seen now two straight primetime game duds, this and the Thursday game. Other than Denver-Seattle, Week 3 has been a general yawnfest of football.

Washington/Philly says hi.
That game, I think, showed how a football game SHOULD be played... Both teams played extremely well and it was a shootout until the end

Implosion sounded about right for last night. You knew the let down game was gonna happen. It does every year. But it always seems like happens on NBC. Last year in New Orleans, this season last night. Always make a fool of themselves on national TV.

One thing for sure the Dolphins are soft, and Ryan Tannehill is a big fat bust. I see Jim Harbuagh taking his kakis to south beach if this continues.
