You know what would be hilarious? If Brady suffers a season-ending injury in the first four weeks of the season.

Really?

He's got his millions. He'd still be able to walk. Don't cry for him.

He never said he wished it upon him. He just said it would be hilarious. Which it would.

I would like to go on the record saying I no longer have, nor ever will, have respect for Tom Brady.

It's funny how injustices leave you speechless.

So this whole joke of an off season was ACTUALLY nothing more than a joke? I'm pretty sure this is the point where I tap out on wasting any more of my time with the NFL. They've wasted enough of my time the past few months, I really can't find it in myself to give them any more time.

This is a level of incompetence I really can't remember ever seeing in sports before. It's almost impressive how badly Goodell f****d this whole thing up.

I just had a random thought: Since Tank is gone for the time being, who is gonna do the pick'em league this time around?

"And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday."

Oh, trust me, I'm not crying for Tom Brady, especially not today.

There does seem to be a lot of crying about him going on, however.

Good. Now the NFL can focus on issues that are really plaguing the league, such as spousal abuse, drug charges, and concussions.

Welcome back, Thomas.

EDIT: Looks like Goodell will not be attending the Steelers/Patriots game next Thursday. I'm sure it has everything to do with what he says -- allowing the spotlight to stay on the Patriots Super Bowl victory -- and absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he'd face a booing louder than anything Gary Bettman has ever heard.

Somewhere in Foxborough, Jimmy Garapolo quietly weeps and prays for the NFL to file an appeal.

Alas, we will probably never see that Eastern Illinois Alumni Football Game in Arlington between Garoppolo and Romo in Week 5.

Good thing too. The Cowboys have never beaten Tom Brady. I'd like that to change this season.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC
