Still MIGHTY
The defending champs are in Florida. Can they fill the house? Not even close. Why would anyone show up to watch this Kings team? I'm serious! They are in serious postion of falling out of the playoffs very soon if they don't run off a bunch of wins. A Vancouver win tonight and they are 7 points out of a playoff spot... and they have to jump 4 teams to get into the playoffs. If they fall to 10 point out, they won't make the playoffs.Well yeah, but one win also jumps them over three of those four teams.Of the four teams currently on the outside, I'd say the Kings still have the best shot of them (if only because of pedigree), but if the Kings don't come out of that group, I'd think we have our West playoff teams set. I don't trust Colorado/Minnesota/Dallas and any of those three making it in would be a disservice to the West playoffs, IMO. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
FiddySicks
The defending champs are in Florida. Can they fill the house? Not even close.I'd assume that distance and the overall apathy towards the Kings had something to do with that. It's not like the Kings are exactly the Red Wings or Flyers in terms of attendance and fandom, even with the two cups. 2001mark
Uh oh. (Evander) Kane is in trouble.http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/nhl/kane-skipped-game-after-incident-with-teammates/When I first heard, I thought maybe it was a one time bi-polar'ish blow up.Now... not so much.Apparently this wasn't even his first tracksuitgate with his team?! Buff even threw his track suit into the showers... & another story from the past that says guys cut his pants into short shorts?? Weird.Guy needs to be traded... the Jets are the NHL's Seahawks. @2001mark
The_Admiral
They're really more like the Browns. HFboards is accusing Byfuglien of workplace bullying because of course they are. As bad as this looks, they have to make it through the rest of the year with him in the hope that he'll lock in for the playoffs, if they even get there at this rate, and bump up his trade value from the zero it's at now. ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

monkeypower
Okay Buffalo. You do realize you're offering Tyler Myers right? I also hope the Ducks are not touching this.https://twitter.com/WGR550/status/563737613677248513https://twitter.com/hockeyanonymous/status/563706108158955521Even though the second one is probably not be the most reliable source. Still MIGHTY
I saw the Cam Fowler rumor too.If the Ducks touch any of that for Tyler ing Myers, Bob Murray needs a head check. Like Myers would be nice to have as another defenseman in the ranks, but not at those prices. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
The Six
The Ducks should be in Win Now mode. We keep hearing about all the great prospects and youth that they have, but it's only won them one playoff series in three years. Murray seems content to continue hoarding prospects and patching the rest of the roster with the Rene Borques and Dany Heatleys of the world. Bonino for Kesler was fine but might not be enough. Bonino for Kesler was fine but might not be enough. And I can buy into that sentiment. But not trading Cam Fowler or Hampus Lindholm for Tyler Myers. At best (at a very slight best), it's a lateral move.A stand-up physical d-man or a scoring winger would be great and add a lot to this year's team, but they shouldn't go and make a move just for the sake of it. | ANA | LAA | LAR | LAL | ASU | CSULB | USMNT | USWNT | LAFC | OCSC | MAN UTD |
