habsfan1
I hope they go all the way. Hopefully, their Cinderella run won't be put to a brutal stop by whoever wins in the NL.
ninersdd
So like the 2007 NL series, all the AL series were sweeps. Nice job Royals. I will hold off on wishing them good luck for now. BEAR DOWN ARIZONA!2013/14 Tanks Picks Champion

FiddySicks
The KANSAS CITY ROYALS are going to the World Series. Wow. I never even considered saying that before just now. masterchaoss
Well the ripoffs made it to the world series, wasn't expecting that 4 weeks ago, really hoping they sweep the world series. tp49
Whomever does the games on radio for the Royals is about the most unemotional announcer I've ever heard. The Royals win the pennant and he doesn't even raise his voice. That said, the Royals are the only thing that has kept me watching the post-season. The_Admiral
It's so refreshing and crazy and wrong but right to watch a team in 2014 win a pennant with hit-and-runs, stolen bases, a decided lack of power hitting, and good old-fashioned gumption. And I'm glad it's the Royals doing it now as they did then. That makes it extra-special. Though let's not pretend the '85 Royals didn't have one of the greatest hitters of all time ♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

There's a downside to that, which is nearly 3 decades of no-showing in the postseason. But at least they finally made it in.
