That the players will use one helmet all year. Some players will use multiple helmets during the year due to damage from collisions and normal wear and tear.

switching out a helmet due to damage is different than switching for :censored:s and giggles

Agreed to a point. I think if the NFL said only 2 helmets and gave the correct reason, that it could dilute the teams brand and confuse casual fans, that was the more appropriate response rather than give the excuse of protecting players. Especially when that history of not necessarily putting their well being at the forefront.

Hold on... This is a team with an on-campus stadium that only seat 30,200... and they have sections tarped off before the season even begins. That's a perfect description of the state of EMU football and it's sad.

They did.  And actually debated Division II.

Staying in FBS won for the moment.

ASU Equipment twitter posted this picture a couple days ago of the small state outline decals that go on the back of the helmet:

Four of them have been used before, but the top left one hasn't. Looks to be silver or chrome though.

Not sure why they would have them other than a new uni that could come out this year. Miami (one of the other big new adidas schools last year) wore the blackout uni with chrome decals/accents last year against Virginia. I could see that being bearable... but, these new EMU unis (also adidas) have me a little worried.
