Oh, so the Bulls got the pinstripes that the Magic didn’t. And they’re proper pinstripes, not the strange half-pinstripes the Magic have on this set.

Even when the Bulls were great during the better part of the 90s, that franchise was dysfunctional as hell. It's weird that, in spite of Chicago's dominance, Jerry Krause and Jerry Reinsdorf seemed like they were in a hurry to demolish that dynasty almost as quickly as is started.

Jerry Krause was a really smart guy, and did a great job building a team around Michael Jordan. Jerry Krause was also an egomaniac, and that’s what drove everyone away.

I like the historical quirk of the Bulls having pinstripes on the black alternate only. Bringing them back is a nice upgrade, and this silvery gray whatever color is not historically accurate but it does look nicer, so I'm more than fine with it. My only quip is that I've never much liked the "Chicago" wordmark in that typeface, and I wish they stuck with "Bulls" there. In my view "Chicago" on one of their jerseys should always be in the classic cursive script; previously I'd say that includes the regular red jersey but not if that's the defacto home now.

There's controversy brewing over Jerry Reinsdorf telling David Samson (boy, there's a meeting of minds) that it's better to try to finish second than first because you'll save money not competing as hard and you'll keep the people wanting more. Everyone is properly outraged -- it's Bill Wirtz's "Stanley Cups are too expensive" but even more transparently cynical -- and not the least about the fact that the Bulls and White Sox aren't even trying to finish third.

Like I said back in 2017 it was a nice equivalent of Nuggets Rainbow jersey which wasn't around in 17/18 season.

3 years in and the idea bin is already empty.  Be prepared for a lot more of this from all teams...different colors of already existing sets and/or logo slapped on chest.

Its a shame but their uni looks like a counterfeit from mercari. If they flirted just alittle with cursive "Bucks" or "Milwaukee" would be an improvement or just a wink and nod to the purple era.
