Mercy. What prompted the Saints to go with the all white(pajama bottoms) at home this week. Did they think they would get a waiver from the league to wear the throw back uniforms and when the league said no why not wear the black or gold pants with the white tops. Who's dressing the Saints these days? Ken? (Barbie's BF?) Worst look in the league. Way worse than the Titan's Navy or Jets all Black.

I'd take this over the color rush purple any day, but why go away from the standard look?! Ridiculous!

ESPECIALLY if they also wear purple socks.. 🙄

The Vikings should at least do what the Bills did in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day, wear white socks with the mono-look, but then again they should always have a set of white socks when wearing the purple pants just as they had in their expansion years of the early 60's.

While we're on it can the vikings just go full retro and change to these beauties (or at lease an alternate please).

In a perfect world those would make for a great throwback but they'd have to move the TV numbers to the shoulders in order to retain the northwestern stripes on the shorter sleeves of this era which go nicely with those socks, great match.

but one big problem ... the one-helmet rule.  The current matte helmet with the new 2019 shade of purple would not come even remotely close to matching that early 60s purple.

Once in 7 years...

It will never be worn again, right? They only did Mono-Purple in 2013 to show it off hey case it was new...

They will never wear Purple-on-Purple again, right?

Paging @oldschoolvikings @DouglasQuaid. Alert, alert!📢

It might be like that 1964 game how the Vikings thought they would wear white, and they brought purple pants, but the other team ended up wearing white instead, causing them to go mono purple.1964_MIN_A.gif1964_DET_1.png

Actually, for that game, the Vikings were the ones wearing White at Home. The Lions didn’t know that, and during halftime, the Equipment Manager had to go get the Purple Jerseys. They didn’t get White Pants, which caused the Monochrome. At least we had White Socks on. Afterwards, Coach Norm Van Brocklin hated the look of Purple on Purple, and the Vikings killed Purple Pants after that season, not wearing Purple Pants until the 2000s when Reebok came along.

Texans going mono blue?? Could have sworn I just saw a shot of JJ Watt warming up/stretching and he has on dark blue pants.

Maybe the Texans followed the Saints footsteps and wanted to wear color rush because they are undefeated in those but couldn't get a waiver so they are doing the closest thing
