Aardvark Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 IMO Randy Johnson looks awesome in the 90s Astros uniforms. I don't think he looks better in another uniform.
rxmc89 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 So this is basically a player on a wrong team, but a uniform that looks good?
FinsUp1214 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 If the thread is “player on the wrong team but in a better looking uniform”, then I’ll say Bryce Harper with the Phillies: (Especially the throwbacks) BUT if the thread were “player on the wrong team but in the uniform you still associate with him/her nonetheless”, then A-Rod with the Rangers comes to mind. Even after all his years as a Yankee, I never got the association of him as a Ranger out of my head. Couldn’t tell you why, I have no idea. It’s just there.
Ferdinand Cesarano Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Seeing Gary Carter with the Giants is odd. But he sure looked good in that uniform.

Me too but only because I had a Sports Illustrated For Kids poster of him in a Rangers jersey hanging in my room.
CB27 Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 The 2011 World Series kind of locked the image of Lance Berkman in a Cardinals uniform into my head despite his short tenure in St. Louis.
GhostOfNormMacdonald Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Big Papi looked good in the Twins pinstripes
StrongXStyle Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Steve Smith and any veteran who signs with the Ravens seems to fit with their looks.

Well, maybe not the last one... kinda nuts they didn't win another title or two in the mid-00's. Those teams were absolutely stacked. My TeePublic Shop My Instagram Art Page
StrongXStyle Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 When Rob Beck, a closer for the Giants in the early 90s, was with the Cubs for a season. It looked like the right uniform for him. But it can also be said for some Giants who sign with the Cubs also like Dusty Baker.
FinsUp1214 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Every time I see or think of the Mariners’ Star + Trident, I think of Gaylord Perry (I’m guessing because of his 300th win). It’s probably the milestone effect, but the Mariners look at least more right than wrong on him to me.
mattr1198 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 I think you should rename this thread to "How can something be so wrong yet feel so right?" NYC x STL

Santa gave them special sand-skates that allowed them to play in shorts and t-shirts in 115 degree weather. Jesus, Zeus and Buddha watched from the sidelines and ate cotton candy. Ferdinand Cesarano Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Every player looks good in a Yankee uniform, even those who are generally not thought of as Yankees.
SFGiants58 Posted July 7, 2019 Posted July 7, 2019 Dan Uggla was a Giant for one week, but what a week it was! Other Giants examples: Yes, AJ Piezynski counts, if only because of the terribleness of the trade (but hey, the Twins were in a better place than the Giants at the time).
