The kicker is I just scrolled quickly past and initially assumed that photo was a poorly lit photo of the Mets in black jerseys.

I’ve warmed up to them. Still pretty goofy, and I don’t like the fade G on the front, but the addition of the orange helmet helps in a if you’re gonna go gaudy, you may as well go all the way sort of way. Plus, their record in them is pretty damn good (I think they won their first 12 games in them?) when they wear that set, so if it brings them some juice, cool. 

Could be a bit of Stockholm syndrome, admittedly

Quick thoughts: That's an underrated, yet legendary feature of the stadium...arguably just as much as some other stadiums' prominent features; to see the sign go down in favor of some newfound ad space would suck. It wouldn't be atrocious as giving away the name of the ballpark, but still a bummer.

Wasn’t that the case a few years ago? I don’t watch the Blue Jays much at all, so I never realized the white panel hats even left.

Nah. The all-blue hat, especially with the home and alt uniforms, is a thing of beauty and 100x  better than the white panel hat. Occasional alt, ok. But not full-time home.

Noticed the Royals are wearing their city connect pants with powder blue stripe and belts with their powder blue home alts. Have they been doing that since the CC debuted?

Wow, this actually looks pretty great. I'd say this is them warming up to the idea of finally doing all powder blue but if they have to wear white pants this is the  best option.

looks like Los Dodgers changed their CC caps. Went with a black bill and moved the Los Dodgers to the side panel. Traditional LA on the front. Brutal look.

Man, seeing the dodgers cap, I’m not sure a few years ago anyone said they can’t wait til there’s the mlb logo on the back, your nickname on the side, the new era on the other side and the front panel has your logo above a random black bill.

Rockies' City Connect looked good on-field for their debut, but from what I saw on social media, you either love them or hate them. One major gripe I have is the back numbers. The white gets lost way too easily. I would switch to purple since its already used as the outline. The other *small* gripe I have is that green almost seems too dark. It looks like black in certain lightings, especially on tv.

 

Again, very Colorado-y in a good way. Like they took all the likeable stereotypes and made them into a uniform.

I 99% get the softball vibe. The other 1% comes from those turn ahead the clock uniforms.

when dark colored pants are worn high cuffed, with contrasting socks or stirrups, it's WAY better. These long pants look like 80's football coaching ones, with the slash pockets.
