Exactly what the powers-that-be that tuke CFB want us to do to do: continue to talk/debate/fight about it. Keeps the interest up, keeps them in the headlines...keeps the revenue dough rolling in.

If there is some media conspiracy, it's simply to pump up the bigger name teams. Having numbers beside both Texas A&M and Miami's names makes for better TV. A&M's resume thus far is a win over an FCS and a loss to App State. North Carolina beat an FCS and also beat App State in Boone but is still unranked. Such is the power of the preseason poll.

Realistically, most AP voters (and especially coaches poll voters) just lazily put teams they know. Notre Dame is still getting AP votes. Nebraska got a vote in the preseason poll. I mean I get it, it's hard to meaningfully rank teams after the first 10 or so.

There seems to be a real copycat epidemic in CFB this year where the DBs feel the need to jump up and do that dopey little finger wag after every incomplete pass.  One of the things that's truly enjoyable to see is when the showoff his sticking his hand in the air and wagging back and forth, meanwhile the flag for pass interference is floating in the air behind him. Then the look of NBA style pained disbelief as he realizes  he just got called. Funny.

Nothing better than Notre Dame getting exposed as frauds right at the beginning of the season rather than towards the end of the season like usual. Kills that whole bull💩 narrative that they’re good as early as possible.

I get that it's rooted in the whole "people hate Notre Dame thing", but arguing that a program that went 54-10 over the last five seasons isn't good is just such a weird way to consume college football to me. Reducing the sport to Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Ohio State and occasionally LSU as the only teams that matter misses like, 90% of what makes college football interesting.

That ends up happening because those are the only teams that the national media (outside of NBC giving attention to Notre Dame) cares about. The term "ESECPN" is somewhat accurate.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

It happened during Big Noon Kickoff this morning.

The assistant AD said this week that it’s not going to be Urban, but a sizable chunk of the fanbase is convinced he’s the only guy who can get it done. This is gonna be a long three months.

Still early, but UW is getting almost everything it wants from Michigan State so far.

Some chatter about how Michigan State is handling the trip from east to west, but that's the easy one; there's not too much different between 4:30 and 7:30 PM once you're up. The bigger challenge is west to east.

Is this the first year RGIII has done PBP? This is the second time I've heard him call a game, and he's pretty good!

Also pretty good are the Huskies and Michael Penix today.

I’d say Arizona State really needs to fire Herm Edwards, but it really doesn’t even :censored:ing matter considering they’re about to get death penalty’d due to him. They may just be better off scraping the program altogether at this point.
