Here’s an explanation. They are wearing them vs Grambling State and a game in February (Black History Month). New ones: Old ones: I think it's an upgrade, although the wordmark looks oddly small now. As for the rest of the uniforms, it's unknown. They've been using these throwbacks in their promo stuff as the dark uniform, but they had home and road uniforms plus home and road throwbacks last year.
